I haven’t even tried the pizza. In from out of town& staying in a hotel. I ordered a pizza & a Coke. Since I didn’t want to drink the coke from the bottle, I asked for a cup. I was told they couldn’t give me a cup, so I offered to buy one. I expected .50 just to cover some of the cost. I was wrong. If you want a cup of ice for the drink you just bought, that is an additional 2.75. It may be the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, but I won’t return.

I’ve always liked this place since they opened a location in Abilene and I’m glad the quality has never dropped! Delicious food, fast service and kind people :)! Also my boyfriend says the Buffalo chicken pizza is to die for tehe

This review is regarding the manager only. Food is always great and the ladies making the pizzas are always so nice.
We walked in today at 10:57am (not realizing it wasn’t 11 yet) . The manager yelled at us and basically to get out and that they are closed.
First, lock your main entrance if you’re going to be upset if someone walks in 3 minutes early. Second, work on how you speak to customers. It’s rainy and cold, it wouldn’t of hurt anyone if we stood there for 3 minutes (2 minutes and 20 seconds to be exact) while we waited for yall to open since doors were open.
Again this review is solo regarding the manager. No issues with the friendly staff making the pizzas! Food is always good.

Disappointing! I ordered a 10” pizza for pick up from here. 10 minutes later When I went to pick it up , they had not even started making it. I’m not sure why since they were completely empty when I placed the order. Instead of making mine they told me they would start making mine after this other lady and her kids who got there after I ordered. I just told her no thank you, I will just cancel.

Great little place for Gluten Free pizza! It’s like a Papa Murphy’s but here they cook it for you.
I had to give them a star on each, but I should’ve left them at no stars If I could’ve. I am utterly devastated with this Pizza place. It was my favorite pizza place in Abilene, Texas. It has messed up one too many times. This is the second time that they are very late, put in the wrong toppings, when they are clearly posted on my notes, the pizza is very cold, and the worse! They did not knock on the door, and dropped it off on the ground, in front of my door!!! Disgusting!!! Giving a chance for any bugs or animals to get to it! I cannot believe, it happened once, and I didn't learn my lesson! Gave them the benefit of the doubt, because it was my favorite pizza, and tried it one more time, and they disappointed me again! We'll never order from this place again! NEVER AGAIN!!! 😢 😔 😞 💔 💔 💔

The pizza was great, but I would immediately turn around and walk out due to attitude from staff if I were anyone else. We came to Abilene for the day to do some shopping and have never been to Pizza by Design so we wanted to stop in and try it. The staff making pizza was absolutely terrible. The young girl was bothered by any questions we had and when she would turn around to the girl making the crust, she’d mumble something under her breath. When we come to Abilene next we will gladly pass on coming to this restaurant.

I had a little trouble with my order. Salad was left behind on the delivery and pizza could have been a little warmer. I ordered spicy sauce and it is just that, spicy and delicious. I'm gonna give em another chance cuz the pizza taste great. The girl that answered the phone was very apologetic and gavee options. I would still recommend this place.
