Visiting my old hometown and wanted lunch before hitting the road. Found this place when our 1st option fell through. Arguably the friendliest staff I've encountered in a while. I ordered a club sandwich, my wife ordered the pear salad. Sandwich was fine, nothing special, but she loved her salad. Got the praline scone for dessert, highlight of the meal. Food was very good, but not amazing (menu is limited, but thats standard for small bistros), staff was exceptional.

One of Abilene’s hidden gems. This place is beautiful, inside and out. The staff were the nicest people ever. The cesar salad is amazing, the pasta and sandwiches were so good, and their desserts are very pretty and tasty. We got our food to-go, but we will definitely be dining in next time because the customer service and atmosphere is the best. The place is very cozy and very clean.

Yum-o! I thought I had been here before, but it turns out it was a different place.I got the watermelon salad and added chicken salad. What a perfect lunch! The watermelon was ripe, with no seeds, so texture was just right. The mozzarella balls were a good touch. It's common to see watermelon feta salads, but this version was better imo. The chicken salad was very good. The flavor was mild but still flavorful. The chicken was shredded with no nasty gristle. The celery pieces were 5 as someone who hates celery, I didn't mind it at all this time.I LOVED the honeydew agua fresca. I ended up drinking one with lunch and buying one for the road! I also got a banana pudding to enjoy at home and wow....it was scrumptious. Can't wait to try more stuff!

This is a must eat place in Abilene! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is sweet and quaint, and the service is warm and your quintessential southern hospitality! Everything was delicious…poached pear salad, cinnamon roll, chicken salad, caprese sandwich. The bread is out of this world!

This is a little treasure that shines for Abilene! We stopped while traveling through and were delightfully rewarded with fresh and expertly made lunch fare. Even the bread is fresh made each day. The chicken salad, watermelon green salad and breakfast enchilada casserole were spot-on. We went back to the counter and bought quiche, scones, and cookies to-go for our trip to Ruidoso. Now we wish we’d brought more. Great food, friendly people. Loved it!

I cannot even begin to thank everyone at Sweet Thyme Kitchen enough for the amazing Bridal Bruch they prepared for us last Saturday. The food was DELICIOUS, the service was FABULOUS, and the venue was DARLING. Let Sweet Thyme Kitchen host your next gathering. They are so easy to work with and I did not have to do anything except show up. I am so very happy we chose this venue to host our Bride for her special day!!!!

My family and I visited here for lunch last Saturday and the food and service was phenomenal. I'd been missing something by not knowing about this place. It's always nice to see a kitchen that really cares about the quality of their food. Environment and seating was perfect. The bread was made in house for our sandwiches. Dessert was great. Thanks Sweet Thyme we will be back!
