I love Taco Bell, as a previous vegetarian turned vegan they have been my struggle meal through thick and thin. You could get a small drink, potato fresco (before it got canceled) tacos, cinnamon crisps, and bean burrito for $5. I never forgot about what Taco Bell had done for me through career changes, the pandemic. And if you’re a plant based fam, Taco Bell is one of the few places you can get food on the road especially in Texas.
I was the one who talked my family into getting Taco Bell here a few days ago, because the one in our hometown is literally the worst Taco Bell on the planet (1 ⭐️ on Google literally) and we never go there.
I got my usual order at the drive thru. My husband wanted a bean chalupa and my son had a side of rice and beans. They got sick immediately after, and the only thing we could trace it back to was they both had the black beans, and I didn’t.
I felt horrible they got sick and after this experience, as we were on a family trip. My husband has sworn of Taco Bell altogether saying the beans were not good and messed with his stomach. I also feel naive because Taco Bell giving ppl the runs is not an unheard of stereotype. It’s not like advertise themselves as healthy, but I’ve just never personally experienced adverse reactions.

Ridiculous that you have to use a kiosk inside to order and you can’t just walk up to the register and tell them what you want

Go here if you want to be treated like trash and have half your order forgotten and have to argue with the very rude staff about it even though you haven't left the counter with the bag.

What ever girl was making my order at 5:08 on 2/22 she threw the bag of food when she yelled my name even though i was already standing there and when i opened my bag of food my crunchy taco was completely broken to pieces and the coke machine was out of syrup. The only nice once was a girl with glasses cleaning

I don't get it. I pay $20 for an order. 2 Mexican pizzas, a small drink, and a bean burrito with extra, extra sauce. That I was more willing to pay for. Seemed to be an issue getting extra sauce, Had one of the Mexican pizza tortillas had a bad taste. It seemed to be a problem replacing it. The manager asked what else do I want. I had to trade it in for something else. Because they don't make more Mexican pizzas. I said yes to cheesy dipping burritos. She then with attitude said we can do it this time because of a price difference. I was the one getting short changed. Mexican pizza costs more. Made no sense for the stress. Sometimes when you buy a Mexican pizza the shell tastes bad. Not sure why. Ridiculous customer service. The manager and staff are losing Taco Bell customers and money. While others know how to charge and do a pump and a half on red sauce without arguing.

There was hair in my food, horrible taco bell
We visit this Taco Bell often because it's affordable and conveniently located across the street from Hardin-Simmons. However, you should be prepared for consistently long wait times because it's not uncommon to wait 30 minutes or more for an order. Additionally, the food quality can be quite inconsistent. For example, today all of our tacos were missing or had very little of the signature sauce, which makes a big difference in taste and texture. Without it, the tacos end up being too dry which makes it’s not even worth the $2. While I understand it's fast food, this location seems to have ongoing issues that could really use some attention. A little more consistency and efficiency would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

My husband ordered garlic steak fries. They didn’t give him the steak or the garlic ranch sauce. Then they needed proof because they thought he was lying. They took the fries they gave him BACK into the kitchen… which is cross contamination. And they gave him new ones.
They also insisted the red sauce cost 25 cents but it’s always free. Or has been anyway. They saw on the kiosk it said it was 0 cents and huffed and puffed about it. It’s sauce my guy. Really? Lmao.
They also take forever and I don’t understand why. Even when no one’s there. Forever.
It was taco bell, not sure what a person expects.

The only positive experience was the guy at the window was nice, other than that - trash. Food wasn’t fresh, missing half of our order, called about it and they questioned are we sure we’re missing the items.. I’m spending more in gas and time than I am on the food, why else would I be calling? Save your time and patience level and go to South 1st location.

The food is good but drive through line CRAWLS and they are always out of all of their hot, fire and mild sauces and Baja blast by Sunday. It’s ridiculous. Whoever orders their truck is not ordering enough product which is going to cost them business.
