1st time here and 1st impression what's that good but I stuck around because I heard the food was good. Got there and waited about 15 mins until I finally got helped. Two guys walked in and got helped not even 3 mins from being seated. I counted about 5 waitress and there was at least 12 - 15 tables occupied.
Food was actually good. I would go back to try their breakfast and also see if the morning service is different.

First time I ate here it was quite good. Second and third time was okay. So I guess I'll only go on the weekends when the food is better. When you dine in why do you have to request chips and salsa?

Living in Texas affords folks the luxury of having a never-ending market for fine Mexican cuisine. It is difficult to find a place that truly surpasses others. However, during a recent visit to Abilene, I found Heaven on a plate at Taqueria Nuestro Mexico! This food was absolutely divine! From the chips and salsa to the fire-roasted jalapeño and green onion that accompanies each entrée, the people working there know what quality looks like and they serve it with a smile. Excellence is obviously a key ingredient in everything they serve!

The Mexican older waitress, took our order wrong then tried blaming us that that's what we ordered, not the first time with her, everyone else is okay..

Waited awhile to get drinks never came for refills on chips and drinks found a hair in food, portions were small, not a great experience at all.

1st time visit. Delicious food. Chips are premium stone ground, guacamole is smooth, tortilla soup full of flavor. Locals say this is the most authentic in the area and it shows.

I was there on 30 August 25, this restaurant is usually good spot for breakfast but on this date there was a waitress that was going crazy, yelling at other waitresses calling out orders like she was at an auction, fighting with coworkers for their orders. Just made it uncomfortable here being so obnoxious. Didn't catch her name but wears glasses. Owner/manager please be aware of what your employees are doing outthere.

We were most sad to learn they don't give you chips and salsa because we were starving. Lol I ordered the chicken flautas and they were overcooked. My daughter ordered the Mexican tacos and she said they were delicious! The tortillas were half flour/corn. Not sure what kind of meat but it was easy to chew and flavorful. My husband ordered the menudo and he said it had good flavor but the tripe was too chunky and they put too many pigs feet. My 18 month old grandson enjoyed his beans and rice and even the tomatoes! 😊 Our server was nice but left midway through without a goodbye 😢. All in all, it was an ok meal. We have had better from them before. So ill chalk it up to an off day. We'll be back again.
