It was good enough the walls are thin in the rooms you can hear your neighbors. The staff is overall understanding and nice but this one guy making the omelette kLeft some shells in my moms food. Technically thats food poisoning so be careful with the chef you get when you need an omelette.

The overall experience here was good although the rooms are quite "sparse" in decor but have everything you really need. The bed was quite comfortable with soft sheets, good pillows and bedspread that wasn't TOO heavy like some. The bathroom sink and facet needed to be replaced as it was rusted around the drain and the faucet had peeled "chrome" coming off. For anyone with knee issues, the toilet is VERY low so would be hard to get up even for those not necessarily requiring an ADA toilet. It was quiet but there is a heat/air unit that goes on and off, but did it more effortlessly than most so didn't wake us up. The flooring is the wood-look vinyl everywhere but tile in the bathroom. And, there is a small KEURIG coffee maker in the room which was a surprise since that is what we use. We had our little 16 lb Shorkie dog with us which was a deciding factor for this place. I believe the pet fee was $25 which is okay. He does sleep with us (non-shedding) in his dog bed at the end of the bed,....so if you have a small dog, be aware that the bed is quite high and the floor slick for a small dog to jump off. The first time he face planted so we had to "improvise" with his bed on top of our suitcases to give him a shorter way to get down so he wouldn't hurt himself. My husband had the cooked to order breakfast and wasn't impressed with the eggs but it was okay and bonus. The coffee was good. The parking lot area/fencing is in need of some sprucing up. There is an old trailer and van parked on one side that looks like a homeless camp and minimum places for your dog to relieve itself. There were MANY old mattresses stacked outside the former restaurant for the Inn that were getting rained on and needed to GO. We're not "bougie" people, but there was an ick factor here outside that made us feel somewhat unsafe. My husband even decided to move the car from our closest entrance to the room in back to a more visable location on the side for fear of a break-in. I hope all this detail helps you decide about The Inn at 34 Fifty. For the price, compared to other places around it, we would recommend it for overnight stays with a pet.Nearby activities: LOTS of shopping opportunities nearby.Food & drinks: LOTS of restaurant close, even walking distance to Panera, Cheddars, etc.

Really nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Also, I forgot my phone charger and they lent me one at the front desk. Very courteous front desk staff. Also, great location, you can walk next-door to a natural organic grocery store; and Ross and TJ Maxx and Target for shopping. And a lot of restaurants really close by. Looking forward to staying here again.

Amazing people, very polite host and guest, I loved the fact that there is a washer and dryer for you to clean your clothing, I enjoyed the outside pool and patio, I also thought it was really nice that you could grill if you wanted. The breakfast was to die for! It’s also pet friendly! And I really like that after maybe two or three nights, you don’t have to pay the deposit again ?? definitely would come back and the price is definitely worth it.

I can’t give the rooms a 5 because it’s an old building. The service was unbelievable, the breakfast was great, and everyone that works here were as friendly as could be. For the price you will never find a place better.

It’s a good place to stay if you are driving through Abilene. Great location with many restaurants around. Service is warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Eggs made to order and you can customise. Loved the crisp hash browns right out the fryer. They have round the clock free Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Nice pool with sitting area. A very pleasant stay indeed.

Rooms were very dirty and humid. Carpet was dirty with bugs. They don't want you to Uber eat anything or take any food to your room. I could not sleep due to smell, humidity and the loud a.c. unit that is so noisy and doesn't even work but if you turn it off you are hit with smell of urine and musty carpet. Pillows are yellow and mattresses have stains. No air filtration in rooms or hallways or proper ventilation. They go through your rooms as soon as you leave and watch everything you do. Maids are told by owner to watch you all day instead of clean. Breakfast was a pass for me did not look appealing. I don't recommend due to unsanitary environment, poor customer service and overall atmosphere. Was supposed to stay a week but left after the 4th day. Manager thought it was funny any complaints given isn't worried about bad reviews because he obviously pays for good reviews he claims his maids are good says for him which is good for him because they are very bad at cleaning. Please do not waste your money pay the extra money and stay in a decent hotel.Rooms: Outdated, musty, unsanitary

Nice, clean, affordable place to stay if your passing by. Has a good selection of breakfast, allows pets for a $25 fee. Also has FREE STARBUCKS COFFEE in the lobby at all hours, if your driving across the country with kids you know you need to get that coffee intake when you arrive. Also has washers and dryer’s available and like a mini convenience area to buy snacks and toiletries. (Took away one star because it does need a few updates.) Overall a pleasant stay with good customer service.

The hotel is older, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and it's more than affordable. Treated me and my fur child with respect and were polite and very, very helpful. There is no usual free toiletries, so if you want to shower, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, lotion, etc. Towels were very clean as well and pillows extra fluffy.

My husband and I were here for his work. I stayed at the hotel during the day while he was away. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. We had no issues at all. All the staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. The pool area/patio area was absolutely amazing.
