The extremely loud music ruined the potential here.There was absolutely no no ability to converse or even hear our Order called. The device for order pick up was faulty. Food was good once we got it. NO DR.PEPPER!

I ordered a Millionaire with extra Patty (antelope) . When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told that they didn’t have that particular kind left or wasn’t aware of what they had . I paid extra for it but instead I received the burger they had , which I was unsure what I got . Being the end of the night , I didn’t want to wait longer than I already had to because the extra patty was not made , and I had to work shortly after . I feel that I overpaid for a burger that was not to my liking .

the experience i had here was absolutely awful. waited for a single burger and onion straws for over 40 minutes. the restaurant was maybe half full at best. and when food was finally received it was ice cold. rude staff as well. this will not be a repeat.

We decided to give this twisted root another try after we heard there was new management. Came in and it wasn’t very busy. After waiting 10 min in line to order (2 parties in front of us) while waiting for a long time another patron walked up complaining and stayed “this place is a disaster” (not sure what happened with their situation) we asked the lady taking orders of it was going to be a while and she said yes it’s going to take a long time soooo since we couldn’t even order we didn’t want to wait no telling how long to actually get food. No one seemed concerned at all about getting the people that were in the restaurant served and it was just a really bizzare situation. Walked next door and ordered tacos. We still enjoy other towns twisted root but doesn’t seem the management change has helped much in Abilene.

Me and my family came in for lunch spent 100$ on 5 meals, 2 of them being kids meals, waited over an hour for our food just for it to come out ice cold. Our orders were wrong, it was cold and we paid way too much money for horrible food. I will NEVER eat here again, which is a shame since the Twisted Root in Lubbock tx was one of my all time favorite places to eat.

Incredibly slow. Delayed/cut short our time with family in nearby hospice facility. Not okay.

Burger was really good but my fries were all broken up into little pieces. The outside patio is very nice but EXTREMELY FILTHY and looks like it hasn’t been swept in a week. Please sweep up the food all over the floor.

Lots of unique decorations, nice water views with gas heaters outside. Spacious areas inside our outside. Friendly employees. Some of the food could use a touch up but good experience.

Met a friend for lunch! The place was Filthy! Dirty tables everywhere with only a few customers in the place. After waiting over 30min for a burger, we picked up and moved next door to Fuzys. I’m surprised it hasn’t been closed down with that kinda service and atmosphere.

I’ve been three times. I’ve always been underwhelmed and disappointed in the price. The service has never been stellar, but has declined to poor.

The cost for the product and the service provided is outrageous.

Without a big change I don’t think I will return

The food was good but the service was lacking as they appeared to be understaffed for the evening. Which is crazy as they knew a football game was happening across the street at ACU. Also they expect people to bus their own table but people weren’t doing it. The tables were messy and those tables that were bused were pilled up near the garbage cans. It’s a busy place.

Honestly, the food is not remotely good enough to justify the wait at this place. Nearly empty restaurant and the food I ordered took 30+ minutes. Two burgers, two sides. I keep trying this place thinking the last time was a fluke and yet I'm disappointed every time. Go to Lucy's.
