Went for lunch with some work friends while in town and can say atmosphere, hospitality and pizza was top notch! Will be back on my next trip to Abilene

Unbelievably delicious 😋 but the male waiter on dec 10th at 7 pm that delivered our bread acted like he couldn't stand waiting on customers, he practically dropped our bread plate down and left .I watched 2 other tables he was at and he seemed agrivated to serve . Very dissapointed how he treated us and others . Our female waitress was excellent.
The BEST pizza I ever had. The bread is so crunchy but thing and so flavorful. It’s definitely a must in Abeline. We had Mommas favorite, and oh wow, the staff is so nice. They told us the pizza is really good because they prepare everything from scratch. They have their own recipe for the sauce and the bread, they even curate the bacon themselves. We’ll definitely come back

Our server was attentive and helpful and his energy was so joyful. The Lucia pizza was superb and the salad was also tasty.
I have to point out how fast the service was! We came in as a family of four right as they opened (and they filled the room fast! There was a line outside!). We got an appetizer, 2 pizzas, and dessert… and were out in 30 minutes.

Vagabon Pizza never lets you down! Their wood-fired pizza is absolutely delicious — a must-have whenever we’re on the road to Dallas or Austin. We even tried to stop in Abilene just to get a taste of this world-class pizza!

We absolutely love this place. We live North of Houston but come to Abilene for work pretty frequently. We have to keep finding ways to get back here so we can go to Vagabond Pizza. If you haven't tried the bread with the salted butter, get it. We've loved every pizza we've tried as well. It's so cool how they're always working on new recipes too, so there's always something new and exciting to try here. What a spectacular business!
The best restaurant in Abilene. Send a scout to put your name down, because there may be a substantial wait. But, once inside the staff in attentive. The menu rotates weekly so it's always offering something new. Our kids ask to come here every time we are in from DFW. As a foodie, I absolutely agree. The Vagabond Salad is my favorite house salad. It has so many layered flavors on it. Our family LOVES the bread and butter, meatballs, Lucia and Margarita. The bartender poured a delicious Red Blend red that included my fav, Barbera. Tonight we get also got the Tiramisu; spectacular.

Vagabond Pizza is a true gem in the heart of Abilene, Texas. We tried the Lucia pizza and the Elote Arancini for an appetizer (covered in Chile Verde, it has the sweetness of the corn and just enough heat from the Verde). And the pizza.... All the pizzas are wood-fired with perfect crusts. The Lucia is drizzled with a sweet/spicy jalapeno jelly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, beers, and wines they have. Definitely worth a trip.
