The coffee here was incredible. Smooth and tasty! Seriously wouldn't change a thing! We got a Pumpkin Spiced Latte and a Vanilla Latte and both were perfect. We will be ordering here again.
Things I did want to note the sausage bagel sandwich could have used a spicy sauce, the sause on there was rather bland.
The chocolate croissant was made with milk chocolate and not dark chocolate. Which I did not like but other's might. The croissant itself, however, was flawless.

Always use this location to cater events. I will usually call them same day, and they are prompt and on top of it! Really think their service is top tier, and honestly think they have the best drip coffee I have had in the Dallas Metroplex.
11/17/25 Update:
I have came back 2 more times, many compliments on the coffee. They truly do so well with their drip. Addtionally their customer service is TOP NOTCH. I will call last min., need a receipt, have to pay over the phone etc. They handled me with professionalism and have a life long customer. Really apperciate LAUREN especially. Today in the middle of lunch rush she helped me retrieve an important receipt. Really apperciate this location.

Ascension Coffee's fall flavors are so good! I got the holiday cookie latte and it did not disappoint. As always the vibe in there was cozy and I was able to have a fun morning catching up with some friends.

We've been coming here most weekends - it's a little pricy but not any more than independent coffee shops tend to be, and the coffee is excellent. I usually get a hot oat milk latte and my partner gets the doki doki, both are always excellent. I really appreciate that they have for-here ordering with real cups and dishes. The brunch menu is suitable with enough options for a light bite with your coffee.

If youre looking for the kind of service you’d find at Ascension, this isn’t it. Totally different vibe, energy and I guess company policy then the other stores. I sat outside for 15 minutes and nobody came to take my order. I came inside and asked if there’s outside service to which the blue haired gal with the nose ring said ”No, you have to order in here.” But when I asked why was it a couple of weeks ago I sat outside and someone came outside and took my order and delivered my meal and coffee to my table, but now the 4 people standing around behind the counter looking bored are saying different. I’d avoid this location and go to either the Crescent or Rockwall locations.

We’ve been loyal customers of Ascension Coffee in Frisco, visiting at least half a dozen times, and it’s always been great—but the Addison location was a serious disappointment. I ordered the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich, and my girlfriend had the avocado toast, both of which completely missed the mark. Honestly, a $4 McDonald’s breakfast sandwich had more flavor, warmth, and care than what we were served here. The only redeeming part of our visit was the chai latte, which they managed not to mess up. Overall, the food and atmosphere felt low-energy and uninspired—save yourself the trip and head to the Frisco location or even McDonald’s instead.

This breakfast spot was a great choice overall. The place was packed with people working on their laptops. The staff were hospitable and the food was tasty overall. We spent about $50 on breakfast whereby we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, two blueberry muffins and two lattes. The muffins were dry but packed with blueberries. We enjoyed the seaded bread.
There is nothing essentially wrong with the coffee shop or its staff. It’s just that the coffee is low quality. This was my first time and my friend had warned me that their coffee was not good. I got an espresso and it was very acidic for a “dark roast” coffee. I hope it’s not cause of under extraction; that’d be embarrassing for a coffee shop.
