Where do I even begin? This coffee joint used to be a beacon of caffeinated bliss in the neighborhood, but oh how the mighty have fallen. It's like they're trying to set a record for how quickly they can go from charming local spot to utter disappointment. The management must have been on an extended vacation, because the decline in service and quality over the past year has been nothing short of spectacular. The staff's enthusiasm for their jobs seems to have vanished faster than the foam on a poorly made latte. And speaking of lattes, don't even get me started on the sad excuse for coffee they're now serving. It's like they've adopted a new motto: "Why make it fresh when we can make it yesterday?"I used to enjoy spending time here, but now I feel like I'm trapped in a time warp where everything was better in the past. Unless management snaps out of their coma and remembers what made this place great, they can count on losing more customers faster than they can say "overpriced disappointment."

As someone who used to work there, the ACR you used to know and love is gone.I loved every second. From the people who thought it was a cafe to the loyal decade after decade frequenters who loved to chat every time they came in, it made my day to talk to everyone and try to spread a love and passion to those who had the time to stop. Those days are long gone. It was a good run. You’d be better off over at Eiland Coffee in Richardson, where they actually know how to successfully run a company.

If you need fresh roasted beans, please don't think twice about coming here to get your beans. I am new to the making espresso at home scene and wanted to stop by, based on seeing great reviews, to start to learn about the beans they carry and get some advice. Ian (I hope that was your name - I'm writing this review a week or so later) very patiently helped me understand more about the process of brewing espresso at home. We spent time going through flavors, roast dates and how it would affect the espresso taste, what type of machine would be best for my needs and SO MUCH MORE. He helped me knowing I wouldn't be purchasing that day. We have a plan in place and he said they would always be available to help us - he mentioned Andrew was also a wealth of knowledge and could help me anytime I needed. Will definitely be back once I buy my espresso machine. Thank you!!!!

One of the best coffee roasters nation wide. This has been my single source even when I lived across the country.

I walked in here by mistake thinking it was a coffee shop - the people were so friendly and they recommended a coffee shop down the street that they supplied. I was able to sample their product through their client and the flavor profile was excellent! I will order coffee directly through them in the future.

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. The service and friendliness has always been awesome! They usually go above and beyond! Yesterday I called to order my annual pickup order of the Holiday Panettone. The lady I spoke with was rude, didn’t act like she had time to deal with me, told me they might have some Holiday Panettone in a few weeks. Towards the end of the Holiday season? She further wouldn’t let me speak to anyone else. I sent an email about my experience but got no response. It makes me sad that a local roaster that I have supported for over 10 years is too busy to deal with me now and just doesn’t seem to care. I will always love their coffee but will take my business else where!

Best coffee roaster in DFW metroplex, no doubt. Incredible employees, very helpful. Highest quality coffee beans, roasting process, and service.

Addison Coffee Co is an experience not just a coffee roasting company. Their coffee is unmatched in certain areas and their Mexican chocolate roast has even some of my chocolates loving geeks hooked. They're very friendly and definitely will leave a great impression. Just opening the door you'll get a good sense of the coffee quality in the synergistic ambience. Give them a try!

There was a time when Addison Coffee Roasters provided coffee to Sir Elliott's tobaccoo stores. Oh my! I would make quarterly trips to the store just to purchase the coffee. I would spend hundreds of dollars and get my cards punched for freebies (old shoppers knows what I'm talking about). At Christmas time I would more than triple my usual purchases because I wanted to share my favorite coffees with family and friends. I used to love, love, love Addison Coffee products and drive over 30 miles to get it! But something happened; Sir Elliott's Tobacco closed their stores. I was so devastated. So, a couple of years after their closing a bell went off in my head and I went to the actual location of Addison Coffee Roasters to buy may favorite coffees. But wait, something happened; The coffee was not as flavorful. I am not sure of what happened, but it is not as good. I think they started cutting corners by not adding as much flavor, syrup, oil or whatever and however it's done, into the coffees. I have bought a couple of pounds of coffee lately (Nov 2022), still not impressed. I am surely on the lookout for new roasters that have my favs like, highlander grogg, blueberry, cinnamon nut cookie, hazelnut cream, Texas pecan, creme brulee, sinful nut delight, Jamaican me crazy, I could go on and on. That's how I would shop and there were many more to the list. What is a coffee lover to do. Addison Coffee, please go back to flavoring the way you used to, and I will come back as a loyal customer and clean up on my favs. I will try again maybe in 6 months otherwise; it was great doing business with you. Now people the coffee is still very good, go get some and try for yourself, you may love it, as for me I want those old great flavors

I was traveling through Texas when I stumbled on a few of their offerings at Central Market in Houston. Their Yemeni Mokkah is the best coffee I’ve ever had. And all of the other varieties I’ve been lucky enough to try are incredible. I now order direct from the roaster to my home all the way across the country. Highly recommend. ☕️
