You ever watch that movie with Eddie Murphy called The Haunted Mansion? If you have, honey welcome to Disney Land. So I'm passing through Dallas and my hotel is right by Arthur's so I decided to walk over and give it a try. Ordered the 16oz ribeye for around $50 and it was average to be honest . What threw me off about this entire place was how dark it was. It gave off a hardcore spooky vibe (would not recommend visiting durning the month of October). I didn't know if the ghost busters or the mafia were about to walk in. It was a dark emotional ride for myself. I ended up spending $100, had a few drinks, and an average steak and had a few ghost open the door for me on the way out. BIG SPOOKY VIBES

Old waiters seen their best days with terrible attitude. They were rude and angry, and slow like nyrhing i have ever seen. When the bill came they even said my Norwegian Visa was declined even if it was nothing wrong with it. They shouted it out in the restaurant too, How polite.. Not! Old place, old uniforms, the food was plane and boring. The guy in the front door looked sceary like Frankenstein. Do not go there!

First time diners last night and we were impressed. It reminded us so much of an old fashioned Vegas steakhouse. The kind that cared about presentation and customer service. The food was great, drinks were great, the whole deal was great. Plus, I don't think that it's a chain, so if I'm giving my money to an independent then even better.

We had our first visit to Arthur's Steakhouse and we loved it! The service is exceptional and the atmosphere was so romantic! We started with appetizers, shrimp cocktail and oysters which were superb. Our entrees were the Oscar Filet Mignon and the Sea Bass which we ate every bite of! The food was absolute perfection! We enjoyed dessert and coffee in the lounge which was a really fun experience. I am already planning my next visit back!

The most disgusting experience ever, roaches crawling on me and in the booth and nats in our drinks. The staff was horrible and no resolution. They said this happens and they have done their services. Do not eat there!!!!

These people are hella racist! A white female patron attacked a young Hispanic girl in the bathroom while the managers and wait staff let her leave without police being called. The lady was doing cocaine in the bathroom. DO NOT EAT HERE

Outdated, dark and uncomfortable. The ambiance seems straight out of a 1950s vampire film and so do the patrons. With large chandeliers, dark drapes, limited lighting and old waitstaff in outdated attire, it's hard to see the menu or the food. It also smelled like sewage when we arrived - not sure if this was due to the massive fish tanks around the restaurant or what but it was unpleasant for what is said to be a fine dining restaurant. The food was slightly below par for what I expect at a DFW steakhouse. The bread was stale, the sea bass was way too thick and over cooked and my husband's NY strip was drowned in sauce. The lobster bisque was the only saving grace of the meal; the fresh sherry they poured straight from a bottle in the back made for a delightful flavor.

Family & I went to Arthur's to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by a strange lacking personality greeter who just stood there looking at us. Once I engaged him and told him of our reservation he sat us. The atmosphere is your old style steak house from the 70's. For me & my guest this was fine as it was one reason I chose Arthur's. If you or your group is a young crowd or your guest are on the younger side, they won't impressed. The service was poor and disjointed especially on a slow dinner service. Now there were only 2 servers and the minimal assistance of the greeter. I am sure these 3 individuals have been in the restaurant business for many, many years. Unfortunately the restaurant business has passed them by. We sat at a 6 top booth and our server had difficulty passing our plates out. We ordered cocktails prior to dinner where our server took one order at a time. When he returned with one cocktail he would take another order, this happened 3 times as only 3 of us ordered a cocktail. Our table was set up with 6 wine glasses, one of our guest ordered a glass of wine and I said bring me the wine list as we would order a couple of bottles. Upon dropping off the wine list the server removed all but my glass. A different server stopped by and asked if we wanted to order any wine, I said yes and told him what bottle. That bottle never came and our original server came by and removed my wine glass. So I guess no wine for the table. We order Oysters Rockefeller which are great, a must order. With one oyster left on the tray our server removed the tray. We looked at each other, I guess we were done with our appetizer. A short time later our server returned with the one oyster on a small plate with no comment or explanation. Did it hit the trash then he realized he should have left it on our table or ask if we were done with it? Did a kitchen worker not want it so he brought it back? When we ordered there was no choice for sides, we were told the side would be asparagus & mashed potatoes for our Filet Mignon steaks. One of our guest order Salmon and another Pork Chops. All the food was good and cooked perfectly. We had no issues with any of our entrees or sides. If our server would have said the menu or sides were prix fixe we would have understood, but not explanation, something you wouldn't expect from a fine dining location. During our meal a small roach climbed up one of our guests arm to her surprise & shock. We didn't inform our server or Management as these things unfortunately happen where there is food. Given our less than stellar service, I didn't want to prolong our stay or give a reason to interact with any of the 3 servers/host on the floor. Once all of our plates & utensils were removed, our server attempted to set up silverware as to prepare for another course. I had no silverware to use to eat my sorbet but my guest in front of me had the server meticulously setting up his silverware. I looked across to my guest and we both laughed out loud. At the end of the evening we had a good meal, served by individuals that might have been pretty good back in the day, in an environment that is nostalgic. Their bar adjacent to the dining room provides some good cover songs and around 10 pm the bar vibe picks up with a Salsa Duo who plays and sings really good. Overall prices are in line with other white linen steak house's. The service definitely doesn't stsck up to the prices or white linen service expectation. This was one of those "One & Done" places to visit.

Came here for the first time. Kind of hidden so never seen it before. But noticed the 900 reviews, so I knew it had to be good. And it was. Very good. Very nice restaurant. Cool fish tanks everywhere. Very high ceilings. Walked in on a Tuesday night and didn't have to wait or make a reservation. I had the lobster bisque (delicious) and the filet oscar style (loved it). Will definitely be coming back. Great service and great food.

Visited Arthur's during this last week of Restaurant Week. A great meal and excellent service. Their champagne brie soup is a must try. One of our group of 4 had the lump lobster crabmeat first course - very good but soup was better. Main courses - we were all happy, one filet cooked perfectly to medium rare, the sole and salmon both delicious. Recommend the Grand Marnier creme brulee. It'll set you back a bit but has the food and service to make the price worthwhile.

Arthur's Steakhouse was recommended to us a few year ago, and we never got around to trying it. Because of DFW Restaurant Week (month) we took the opportunity to do so. Why did we sleep on this place so long? Ambiance: this is an "old school" steakhouse. Just sitting here made me feel like I was in a special place. Service: Our main waiter was always available and ready to take care of us, as did any other member of the wait staff as they walked by. Superior in every single way. Food: Our food was very good. Freshly prepared, and was tastey to say the least. Wine List: Not the most extensive wine list - but big enough to suite most wine drinkers, in pricing that can accomodate most budgets. Overall - I think this place is great, and worth it just for the ambiance, but the experience start to finish was outstanding. We will be back!
