We used to come here regularly but last time we went (Nov 2nd 2024 @ 6 PM) the waiter was extremely rude. We asked to be seated and he was very dry. He sat us and then never came to take our order despite servicing the 2 tables next to us and ignoring us waiving at him. Will not be coming back!!

I come for a cup of expresso pretty often at this coffee shop. I’ve probably been coming here for the past 7 years now. The staff is normally pretty slow.. so if you are in a rush I wouldn’t stop by unless you just order at the bar to go. The staff is all foreign though which I love and they are friendly! I normally hang out with my lap top and if it’s a nice day I really enjoy sitting out on the patio. Their food is just alright so when I eat here I have to be pretty hungry. But overall I love dining here! It’s a very chill spot that I attend regularly :)

I was very excited about this place, I loved the ambiance sitting inside and drinking coffee while getting work done. I ordered a slice of cake which looking back did not have a price listed. Well, a small SLICE of cake was $10!! I am still in shock that we paid $30 for two coffees and a piece of cake. We feel ripped off and that truthfully ruined our little coffee outing so just beware..

My husband and I ventured out to Addison in hopes of finding a cool new spot and ended up in Astoria. The place had several people eating outside, one couple inside and us. It was basically empty inside. Not only is this place extremely cluttered, it has a strange scent - musty / unclean. It seems odd to me that the outdoor tables have linens but the indoor tables are naked. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Despite the inside section being basically empty, they sat 4 obnoxious and loud people next to us. Seriously? The place is empty and they had to sit them on top of us. So much for our quiet conversation. Anyway, a martini, cosmo, house salad and a panini came out to $75. Very pricey for a smelly, cluttered, and unnecessarily loud place. Oh, and they have a Titos display but don’t serve Tito’s - Lame! Not coming back here.

This was a cool coffee shop that also has great cocktails! I tried the espresso martini and their old fashioned! Both drinks were great, probably the best espresso martinis I have tried! Outdoor seating and open late makes this place such a great vibe and casual hang out spot! Would recommend! Desserts looked great, will go back to try some!

On Sunday, 8/25, my wife and I went for brunch. EVERYTHING was unacceptable. It took forever to get the food which was cold when it finally arrived. They were resistant to making me a cup of coffee after I sent back my cappuccino which was nothing but foam . We requested the muffin before the meal which didn't happen. No water after we asked for it. The "manager" was totally defensive, rude and snooty after we went thru our litany of complaints and didn't exhibit one ounce of a customer service attitude. While the setting is wonderful, this establishment doesn't have a competent wait staff, management and cook. This is highly unfortunate since we live near by and thought we had discovered a regular Sunday morning brunch place. The ownership of this restaurant needs to do a through evaluation of the operation of Astoria Caffe. Incompetence and rudeness are costing ownership money. Looking back, I wish I had refused to pay my bill.
