Tried this place out for lunch and the food did not disappoint!! We had a pound of brisket and it was the perfect moisture, perfect amount of fat (we requested moist) and it was so rich in flavor. Also had 1/2 lb of pulled pork and 1/2 lb of jalapeno cheddar sausage and they were cooked to perfection and very enjoyable!!
The only negative thing, and it was minor, was the cashier who took our order wasn't very welcoming or friendly, but that's okay,...

Down-home local place. Great bar and drinks. Safe. Dance floor, live band made it a perfect TX spot for out-of-towners. Fun casual. Just what we wanted. Food was good. Staff was very nice.
Parking: Go early to park, kind of busy certain weekends at certain times, but not horrible. Don’t accidentally take the freeway ramp….. easy to mistake for access to restaurant parking lot. ?

The meats (we tried the brisket and turkey) are good but pretty standard and a bit pricey in comparison to other spots. For our sides we got Mac n cheese and potato salad. The Mac n cheese was a bit soupy and mild tasting. The potato salad was big chunks and a mix of mustard and mayonnaise base ... If you like a LOT of sauce great. Personally this had way too much for my liking. The rolls were...
