All very disappointing. This is not at alll authentic Korean chicken. Not sure where they got the idea of how Korean Chicken should taste or look but this is not it. Service was horrible with only one person up front to serve 10+ customers. Nobody walked out of here with a smile on their face from what I saw. 1st and last time coming in.

Not cool to ask patrons to tip or to provide service based on the possibility of getting an attractive tip from customers. Employers should pay their employees and NOT expect patrons to give a gratuity for walking in to buy your product. What a joke of a practice. I work hard for my money just as your employees do why then, would I just hand you my hard earn money just because I decided to choose to buy from you?

The food itself was pretty sad. Moreover, both myself and the person I went with ended up having pretty bad cramping for the remainder of the night within an hour or so of eating here. Can't complain about the service or atmosphere, but I wouldn't go here again.

On their window it states voted best Korean food, voted best chicken, voted best wings... in my opinion...nope on all 3. The boneless wings were tiny, seriously you get bigger nuggets at Wendy's. The bone in wings were basically all breading overwhelming the little meat on them. As far as sauce, way to little which made them pretty dry and hard to swallow. Coleslaw was good, and staff friendly. I do not recommend this place, but the food is eatable, however I do not plan on returning. There are definitely better options for Korean fried chicken.

I have eaten here before and liked the food, I ate inside the store. Last night I started ordering a to-go order and I would be picking up the food myself from the store. But at the end I was asked to tip 15%, 20% or 25%, so I cancel the order. I think it’s crazy to tip that much on a to go order. That is what you tip a waiter that is serving you at a table. Tipping culture is out of hand and I’m done. I will not order here again.

I ordered to go 6 pc wings, got 3. Sauce was $1, tiny, not a $1 worth& should automatically come with the wings. And why are they asking for a tip ? Every fast food place now expects tips & the prices haven’t gone back to normal. Not worth it… I feel violated just getting a quick lunch. We need to boycott tipping if it’s not a sit down served meal with a waiter. Rewriting the social norms only works if we participate! This is RIDICULOUS!

Expensive for small serving sizes, chicken has no flavor beyond the crust.
We have been to several bonchons but this experience was terrible. There was not a single person in the restaurant except for us and it took close to 30 minutes to get our food. And when we did, the chicken and tteokboki were both lukewarm and hardly edible. Tasted like microwaved food. We left all of our food uneaten and went elsewhere.
