The kitchen was out of Rotisserie chicken at 730 on a Wednesday night???? Trout was a little past its best by date and the poor server, Jessica had too many tables and was overloaded. I have been many times and this was the low point of my experiences.

Came to Brentwood for lunch after having dinner there a few weeks earlier. This time I had the Tempura chicken tenders, which were delicious. The side was a very tasty coleslaw. Met an old friend there who had the shrimp salad that he claimed was really good with jumbo shrimp. Atmosphere is very inviting and service was attentive. I'll be back!

Very disappointing. Finally tried Brentwood since Houstons shut down. I have been a Houston's regular for about 30 years. The worst part of my experience is how miserable I still feel this morning after experiencing the most massively oversalted food item I have ever experienced in a restaurant. I am literally in digestive pain from it. The French dip was terrible. I had to stop eating it when I had the worst bite that made me cringe from the tablespoonfull of salt on the corner bite. The whole thing was way over salted including the juice, but i tried to power through. The quality if the meat fell short, and the bread did as well. The spinach dip was also sub-par for a 30 yr veteran of the Houstons dip, but it was ok. The server was very nice and did bring a complimentary dessert for my birthday. Other than that, it was a terrible experience, and I will never return again. Driving to Preston Center for the real deal.

normally I really enjoy our lunches at Brentwood but our last visit was not good. Service was poor, we waiting probably 10 minutes for someone to come by & take our drink order. My chicken dish was fine but my wife's french dip had quite a bit of gristle/fat pieces. We will probably try again but will take a break

Nice place. First time here. I had the filet. It was cooked to perfection and very tender! The entree came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Well done! Service was awesome!! Thanks!

UPDATE: Went back for a xmas get together with girlfriends and our service was fantastic. So, I guess it's worth it sometimes to give a place a second chance 😊
Celebrated a birthday here for a friend. The food was good, service however wasn't great. We've been here many times over the years, and I'm not sure I'm going back after this last visit.

The staff are very rude I asked for medium well they brought me the food medium rare when I asked the waiter he said this is medium rare I told him to re cook it and then they brought me the same burger back and when I asked the manager he told me you said medium rare to Tommy three attempt to get my food
