The place ran out of lobster and king crabs when we arrived. Kids were disappointed as we had driven quite a distance to get here.. would have been nice if they put a notification on their website..

My dinning here is ALWAYS a good experience. The staff makes everyone feel like family, very welcoming, respectful and funny ..
And the atmosphere is authentic and genuine.

It was a delicious meal as always. One of the best things about Lefty's is it stays the same. The food, menu, high quality service and surroundings.

Such a fun place to dine. And I loved reading about their history. Delicious food at a reasonable price and the staff was exceptional. Will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I came into Left’s Lobster House in Addison on New Year’s Eve looking forward to some great seafood, and thanks to Paco, the evening turned into something truly special.
I had recently undergone wrist surgery, which made things like cracking a classic seafood bucket a bit challenging. Without hesitation, Paco went above and beyond — not only providing attentive, friendly service throughout the night, but personally helping crack the seafood with absolute professionalism and care. It was done seamlessly, respectfully, and with a level of attention to detail that made us feel genuinely looked after.
Beyond that, Paco was exceptional in every way: our glasses were never empty, the service was perfectly timed, and his energy elevated the entire experience. He struck that rare balance of being attentive without ever being intrusive, and by the end of the night, our hearts were just as full as our plates.
If you’re ever in the neighborhood, I cannot recommend Paco enough. He truly represents the pinnacle of what customer service should be, and Left’s Lobster House is lucky to have him. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Paco.

It was our first time visiting- we had a great time! The food was great! The manager came over and chatted with us about the restaurant and its history... the customer service was top notch. We will be back!

We have been going to Lefty's for over 25 years. Owners are always there and friendly to everyone. If you want a solid, tried and true dinner place....you can always count on Lefty's!!

This was my first visit to Lefty's, accompanied by a friend who has been a loyal customer for many years. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp and my friend ordered Lobster. Both meals were plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. It was truly wonderful all the way around. The service was spot on, food was amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant was charming. Got in and out of there surprisingly quickly for New Year's Eve. I will definitely go back. Booking on Open Table was very helpful.
