I've been a customer for two years, and the broths are delicious. I always order and pick up, but I almost never check my receipt. This time was different, though. I ordered yesterday, and today I checked my receipt out of the blue and saw an extra charge for the hot sauce. Have they always charged me extra for hot sauce here without me noticing? I don't eat very spicy food, so I ask for it on the side. I don't know! I live in the area, so I'll see if I can find somewhere similar or better that sells authentic Japanese food with hot sauce included, but with customizable options and no extra charge.
Nice alternative, authentic options

My wife and I were extremely impressed by Ramen Hakata. I got the spicy tonkatsu and she got the soy ramen with chicken. The broth was so creamy and rich with flavor, and had a good amount of heat, which is perfect for me. We also got the vegetarian gyoza and fried tofu. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. The service was great and prices were more than reasonable. We even considered going back a few days later, it was that good. Highly recommend!

Top ramen spot in the area! I’ve been to Japan, and I’ve got to say- they compare to some of the good spots out there. Hope they keep it up!

I’ve gone to a few different locations and this is the one I find lacking the most. I’d say Lewisville location is my favourite!
Obviously this place isn’t bad, it’s a franchise or whatever, so the recipes must be similar if not the same, yeah? However, I think there’s something off about the water. The water by itself taste off and I feel like you can taste it in the broth as well. It wasn’t as tasteful and rich as the other two locations, Lewisville and Frisco, that I’ve been too.
The service here wasn’t bad, but I’ve never had bad service at any of these places. In addition, the atmosphere was fine. Normal, not too loud so you could carry a conversation. The layout of the restaurant is a little strange but I’m sure that’s not their fault.
Long story short, not the best location because the water tasted off and probably made everything else taste slightly off as well.

Didn't love our Doordash order. Chashu (pork) that came in Miso Ramen was very dry and the marinated cucumber portion was very tiny for $8 (photo below)

Waited 25 mins, ended up grabbing my own menu, several servers just walked past and avoided any eye contact with me. Literally cleaned tables right beside me. I liked coming to this spot alone because it's close by and always tipped good but that was enough to keep me from ever coming back again. Food isn't all that either
