I can’t forget when the girl over did the white sauce on my platter.. it was shocking for me to see her rude serving attitude.. I’m always kind to people when it comes on people who provide us their services, halal guys had best taste no doubt but their servers sometimes behave really awkward and we carried food, so half of my platter went to waste due to over doing of white sauce bkz I was throwing up bkz of it..
I’m an avid halal guys customer; especially from when they first started in NY and i am SO DISAPPOINTED in how much this company is going downhill. You guys are so stingy with your meat i literally have just crumbs of chicken. Your lettuce has big chunks of the bud. And when we tell the workers they give an attitude. It’s crazy because mostly all the locations I’ve received the same treatment. Halal guys is way more expensive than chipotle; so you’d expect more bang for your buck. At least at chipotle i don’t get rude looks if i ask for a little more rice. I don’t think I can come here anymore.
Very good service good Food friendly staff
Food was really good
Love this place! The food is great, and customer service from Sergio and Alex is always outstanding!
Came up to go to the burrito place a few doors down but switched to HG on a whim. First, the menu options are pretty limited - bowl or pita, chicken, gyro, falafel, a few veg & 3 sauces. Pretty standard and blah. I chose the chicken thinking it would be more like shwarma, with warm spices and a char but it was incredibly bland, besides salt unseasoned and boring. The White Sauce, touted as 'like tzatziki' was again bland. No cucumber flavor, I guess just yogurt & maybe lemon juice. The 'hot sauce' was hot and fine, & the only interesting thing on my pita.
Maybe the gyro or falafel is better but not according to another reviewer.
I understand they are a growing franchise but I am not sure why. I'll go for the burrito down the way next time as they more options and more flavor. Maybe due to my own ineptitude but as soon as I undid some of the foil the top half of the pita fell apart. So added frustration but not their fault. However, another upside of the burrito, it holds together... for a while.
Super friendly people but food taste really bad
Delicious but CRAZY expensive for what you get.
Greasy rice, no flavor.
Dry gyro meat.
Dry chicken.
No flavor at all!
Unfortunately with these cafeteria style serving establishments, you run the risk of having some food that isn't fresh. That was my experience.
Amazing service and delicious food. Always my Go-To when I’m craving a plate of Halal Guys.

Worse gyro ever .. chicken and beef is so bad seems like it’s leftover from last night. Idk may be they didn’t washed well or didn’t cook well .. never gonna come back ( THE GYRO SHOP ) is best place to eat I have never disappointed like this from them …
Decent place to go eat! Pretty quick and decent wings as well.
Servio was an excellent host!
Reliable, big portions. The spicy sauce actually has a nice warmth and not just a mere tingle.
