Got in line at 3 pm on Sunday. They moved things right along and time spent reading was profitable. We appreciated the sleeping bags at night. We made it to Thursday evening and were 3rd in line, several folks had dropped out. We were seated immediately, the sommelier suggested Thunderbird and we were in for a treat! Next time we intend to try the shrimp, and even do some fishing. It is our understanding that is the only thing some folks do down here. Go figure.
Update 2024- Bill Smiths ownership & operation of the restaurant is having a great impact on its customers. He knows how to do things right. The buffet is stocked constantly and the staff if friendly. Thanks for the hard work. It shows!

I liked the food, large selection however the catfish was under cooked. I got a piece and broke in half and the fish was clear instead of nice and white and flakey so just thought oh well went back got a fresh piece just brought out and it was clear inside as well. I think they are cooking it on too high of heat and too fast. As I said everything else was good.

Service was great, and everything on buffet was fresh, cooked and seasoned just right. Fish was my fave, and my wife, who is from Louisianna, said booiled shrimp were seasoned and cooked to perfection!

Really good fried catfish, shrimp and all you can eat! A little pricey at $20, but you just have to eat your $20 bucks worth!

The food was bad. Over fried everything. Loads of flies on the food. It was just yuck. Trust me it isn't worth the price nor the drive. Just don't.
