Delicious food , we found this gem yesterday. And needless to say we found our new spot . The food’s delicious and the all the waitress are amazing!

Love the country diner atmosphere, staff really nice and friendly! No frills, just great food and smalltown goodness! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Sunday morning rush for breakfast. Great food, great service. Everything was cooked perfectly; bacon, eggs, hash browns, biscuit, gravy. But the coffee is you average cafe swill. Not very good. If the coffee was really good, this place would rate 5 stars. I highly recommend Alba Cafe. Bring your own coffee from home

Is it better than Sonic? Haha, of course it is! But that goes without saying. This is really tasty food. I don't get to eat out often; Alba doesn't have a lot of opportunities for socio-economic advancement (I mean look, there is like one successful restaurant in town at any give time), so who can afford it? Enough to keep them in business, apparently! But on the rare occasion my sweetheart and I can order out, if we are able to catch them within their business hours (that is my only complaint, and why I took a star off), we like to call in an order here. The service seems timely and friendly, and the prices are fair. That chicken fried chicken is SO good! Try the sweet potato fries. The toast is suspiciously good.

Vegetarian options: If you're really careful about your food being cooked on the same grill as animal products etc, I wouldn't recommend anywhere in this part of East TX
