The waitress that waited our table was nice and friendly. She took our orders fairly quickly, but it seemed to take forever before the food got to the table. Again, the waitress was nice and kept our glasses filled while we were waiting. The fried Bologna sandwich was really good, and the other food orders were good as well. The prices were a little high for the area, but to be fair, there weren't many places available for a decent meal.
Went for quick breakfast. Place was packed for Sunday morning. Got 2 egg scramble with cheese and sausage. Hash browns and biscuits and sausage gravy. Water and orange juice. Mother in-law got 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuit with sausage gravy Water and unsweetened tea. (I know, not very southern but sometimes you just have to change) All was very good and out waitress was nice and brought our meals quickly. Will need to try this again with the wife.
Had a steak and shrimp dinner on Sunday and it was PERFECT. Perfectly prepared, perfectly seasoned, etc. Returned on Tuesday for lunch and was a bit disappointed. I had the Philly cheesesteak. The bread was dry, the meat was dry and th here was very little cheese on it. Inconsistencies can kill a diner.
