We stopped on our way late last Friday evening and even close to closing time the food was amazing! The portions were sooo generous and the flavor was even better! The homemade tortillas were my favorite thing! The service was fast and friendly! We will definitely be back next time we head down to the Border.

After several hours on the road without eating we were so hungry, we decided to check out this restaurant. It had a lot of cars parked outside so we thought it must be good. The service was great, the chips and salsa were good, and our food came out really quick! Maybe a little too quick! The corn tortillas on my beef enchiladas were cold and the meat inside had no flavor...just a lot of cheese. My wife's steak ranchero first came out raw and then the second one was over cooked and very dry. The tortillas were plenty but way too thick! The prices were very good and again, the service was also very good, however we will not be coming back for a second try.

Food and prices are comparable to other Local restaurants, it's up to one's preference. I have unfortunately experienced a couple of waitresses having bad attitudes and might be the reason why many go to the drive thru. However, Managers and Owners are good people. Atmosphere is as expected for a Mexican restaurant. Kids menu is available!

My first time trying this the shredded chicken was tough although I did not ask for them they did give me a refund on my card over the phone with the receipt number. I should have gotten 2 cheesecake chimichanga not sure how they got that because he's if the cheese chimi shouldn't be near the meat chimichangas.....
I can’t believe we’ve lived in Alice for seven months and not tried this place. It didn’t come up on any Google recommendations even though it’s only 13 minutes from home.The breakfast parrillada was absolutely amazing. Rich with flavor and sizzled perfection in that hot cast iron plate. The tortillas are huge and very authentic and delicious. Our server brought us a habanero salsa for the eggs. Wow! Awesome flavor. Astounding heat. Not for the weak! But highly recommended. The michelada may be the best I’ve ever had. This must be a homemade recipe to be that good! I wish I’d taken some photos but we will Definitely be back. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend this casual authentic Mexican restaurant!

We are from the valley and have stopped here twice on the way up to San Antonio, once for breakfast and today for dinner. We feel like it's better than most places in the valley that we've been to that have a similar menu AND way more affordable. My son especially liked his steak and shrimp today. We will definitely be making it a tradition to stop here on our way up whenever we vacation.

Their food, services and atmosphere even drive thru experience have always been great, until today. We bought drive thru; bean and bacon mixed and carne guisada and a few more items. The bean and bacon seemed to be scraped off the pot and I can say where’s the meat in the carne guisada taco after only one bite, both floating in a huge tortilla.. Maybe new employees, I don’t know , hopefully a one time bad experience for us.
