“Mrs Liz the owner of the catering, grocery, and partly restaurant is a God loving person. She is very down to earth in her mannerism. Above all, she made me a delicious Nigerian Style egusi soup. Although she’s from Ghana. She told me she had learned how to, from some of her Nigerian friends. Sincerely, the egusi soup is very well made. I love it. I rarely say that. I patronize her a lot because of her genuine human character. HardWork. Kindness. And Humility. Her prices are very affordable unlike many other African restaurants, grocery and catering where the owners, as they say want to build a home on ocean. ?“

“Loved it. The beef Suya & Asun were PERFECT. The chicken & turkey Suya were ok but good. Liked the Suya tacos. Not a fan of the ram.
I just hate it’s in McKinney so over an hour drive for me. But definitely would RETURN for more.“

“Box o Chops is a unique and needed business for small chops packaged in a modern way. Each appetizer snack is absolutely delicious and loved by everyone. Spring rolls are decadent. The puff puff, whether sweet or with a little heat goes so well with any beverage. The sausage roll is always fought over and is hearty and light at the same time. The chin chin at the bottom are the “butteriest” and crunchy. The meat pies sometimes work as a quick lunch meal for me. The kebabs are well seasoned and not dry. Honestly I can’t say enough....we just love them all. Vivian the owner and chef believes that quality and customer service is everything. My children and husband love them and fight over who gets to eat what snack. The presentation is stunning as well. Place your order now.“

“Super rich with complex spices and very good spicy level. The meat was tender and not dry.
African soups have a consistency of stews and gravy so it paired very well with the neutral flavor Fufu.
I ordered delivery and the food was ready and delivered before the initial estimate and everything was fresh.“

“First time trying West African food, and our taste buds were stimulated and confused in a good way. We ordered for pick up with the Egusi with fufu, peri peri chicken with jollof rice, and yam fries. The Egusi reminded me of a tofu dish in terms of texture with a smoky seafood flavor. The jollof rice had a spice blend I was and wasn't familiar with at the same time. The yam fries were ok, but it felt a little overpriced at $14.“
