This was our 1st time and we didn’t know what to expect. Man we were missing out this whole time! Lazy dog is a must try restaurant!!

Our experience at Lazy Dog was nothing short of FANTASTIC! Our waitress Crystal was amazing and made myself and my fiancé feel right at home! We hadn’t ever been to Lazy Dog, so the GM Matt (also a wonderful human!) came over and said hello and greeted us with a special treat ON THEM! I’ve never had that happen before. Food was basically inhaled because it was so yummy, and we will be making this our new lunch spot for Saturday shopping!

We had a large group with several children and our waiter was well organized. He was attentive and respectful to every member of our group, making our night enjoyable.

Great place! This was one of the restaurants we supported during the pandemic. This is a fun place to go, big fire pit, dogs are welcome, food and cocktails are always delicious!
This time we tried the fish and chips. Very tasty, was big pieces of fish,
and nice big fat chips.

First time coming. There was no wait for a table of 6. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming and I would not come here again.

Cons: very loud since it was packed, food was pricey, and was not tasty. I do not recommend for any foodies - wasn’t worth it at all. Very large menu made it overwhelming to pick an item :(

Pros: food came out quickly , server was attentive.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, no stairs. Doors are not automatic thought .

Between the hours of 11am to 4pm Monday through Friday this would be a 5 star review. Hear me out..

My wife and I are here often enough to be members of their Campfire Club, and this is one of our favorite places to have lunch together. The buffalo cauliflower is great. The chicken tortilla soup, grilled cheese, burgers.. all fantastic. The service is always friendly and attentive. For lunch. I literally can’t say enough good things about this restaurant when we go for lunch on weekdays.

However, during dinner and on weekends it’s like this becomes a completely different place. The service is average at best. The food is rarely hot and a lot of times just not done well. The portions are also smaller for some items even though the meals cost more at dinner time.

Examples:
We usually ask for a booth to sit in. At lunch, even when it’s busy this is never a problem and we are always willing to wait if we need to, but at dinner multiple times one hostess in particular will tell us it’s going to be a 20-30 minute wait even though we can clearly see multiple open booths. It’s obviously just a lie to see if we will change to a table since she always seats us almost immediately after we say we will wait.

The buffalo cauliflower at dinner time is almost always over or undercooked and has almost no buffalo sauce on it. Like tonight the cauliflower was so over done it was just mushy. Lunchtime is always perfectly cooked and sauced!

The last example I’ll give is waiting for service and being ignored half the time. I understand when it’s packed and super busy refills will take longer, but even when it’s not busy at dinner it still takes longer and the server will walk right by like you don’t exist sometimes.

If you’ve made it this far, I just want to say this. You will absolutely love this restaurant, their fresh food, friendly service and unique meals! Please don’t let the negative parts of this review keep you from trying Lazy Dog. I promise you will love it… just go for lunch!

Terrible take-out service. They can’t seem to take orders over the phone properly. I was placed on hold multiple times and no one ever got back to me. Very frustrating experience!

The food always seems a little lackluster, My family seems to love this place but I only eat here because everyone else finds it acceptable.

So this is our second time coming here, and all the new things we tried were absolutely phenomenal. From the fried deviled eggs to the Buffalo burger and from the ribs to the Cajun fries, all of it was delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Our server Gilbert was probably the most friendly server we've had here and probably in the top 3 we've had since moving down here. This is our goto restaurant when we're looking for a good all-around place.

It has been a long week and Brittany (probably spelled wrong, sorry!) Took great care of me at the bar. I had the fried chicken salad. I have ordered these at a lot of places and honestly was just hungry and tired and wanted a quick bite and a drink. I'm not kidding when I say this may have been the best salad ever. Hot sauce on the side so you can make it just the right amount of hot and sweet. The candied walnuts were great for crunch but the star has to be the warm cornbread croutons! Try this one the next time you are there. (This was my first time!)

EDIT: We really like this place but lately the food has been inconsistent which is troubling. Today the meal was warm at best but the rice was cold and a little under. The pot roast beef dip can sometimes be uneven in the food to condiment ratio and they never give much jus so you have to ask for extra. Place isn't cheap so that can be disappointing. Had to adjust accordingly. Staff is always on point and happy to correct but I don't like to complain.

EDIT 2: OK, safe to say we like it here as we keep coming back. What I really like is the fact that they seasonally update the menu, not a lot of places around here do that. I may not like every new dish but I really appreciate the variety. I am currently in love with the Poblano Pork but the Chicken Pot pie, Cuban Sandwich, Pot Roast (entree or Beef Deep) etc, all very good. But really, the best part of this place is the staff, from the management down. Always happy to see us and spend some time and always willing to listen. Really a good place to call our spot.
