Let me start by saying the coffee was delicious! However, there was only one person working, and it was apparent she was overwhelmed on a Saturday morning. We waited about 10 mins for her to take our order. We got our drinks ordered, and took a seat to wait. There were several orders ahead of us, so we ended up waiting 20+ minutes for the first item. We love local businesses, and have enjoyed supporting Cedar Coffee Shop, but unfortunately my family has a disappointing experience today. I was raised in Alpine in the 1980s and we were back in town at our family ranch for the Thanksgiving holiday. I dropped my wife and kids off two minutes before 12pm closing while I gas up the truck before our long road trip, however we were told they would not serve us. When we pointed out we arrived before closing time they still refused....
I had a great experience here. Ordered a latte and the basic french toast. Felt like really good value and was clearly made by someone who actually cares what the food looks and tastes like. Latte was solid and appropriately sized. The seating is a little funky and they need some shades for those eastern windows that blind everyone. I would visit again.
