“Got take out today. Very friendly people, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the fried mushrooms and homemade ranch. The tomato soup was great. My brother loved his burger. The fried okra was some of the best we’ve had in ages. Would recommend and can’t wait to try something else next time.”

“We stopped in Alpine for a few days on our way to Big Bend and found this gem. Great history, great place and great bar. They offered a very unique machine frozen drink - a frozen gin and tonic that was the BOMB! So good and fun. Bartender Molly was friendly, informative and great at her job. Definitely a spot to return to when we head this way again.”

“Just driving through we saw a sign for Thai food which we really like so thought we’d give it a try. LINE Thai Cafe did not disappoint! We had yellow curry with chicken which was fantastic and Thai lime tea with tapioca pearls which had the best flavor- not too sweet.”

“I ordered the southwest quesadilla and a corona. I asked to put the chicken on the side and gave my friends the chicken as a safe vegetarian option. It was a huge portion and tasted great! The mushrooms are canned but it was tasty! The guacamole was like nothing I have seen before but was good. My friends loved the chicken quesadillas . The place was off the beaten path and definitely locals and us. The payphone on the wall was ringing which was hilarious. The yellow sign said free calls for free prayers, the weather or a loan LOL.!! As our fist stop in this area it was a relief to see it's clean and ways to avoid meat and lard. Check it out!”

“Pancakes as big as your head! Husband has Huevos Racheros. Different than what we're normally used to but said it was still very good. Not much parking, but bigger on the inside.”
