“Relaxing atmosphere and delicious pizza. The place is clean and there comfortable places to sit down inside and on the porch. The bar next door has the same owners such that you can order pizza and relax at the bar while you wait.”

“This hotel far exceeded our expectations, everything from the remarkable staff to the detail of the hotel itself, the bar, outside areas, and ambience. Even the little things like the quality of the rooms (mattress, blankets, decor) even the bathroom sink and shower is beautiful! The food we ordered from the bar was delicious (crab cakes were scrumptious) and cocktails top-notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We talked about being on a road trip and the staff gave us some awesome pointers and suggestions, and the hotel guests sitting beside us joined in the conversation and we talked about the history of the hotel and things to do in the area for 2 hours! What an amazing experience. Thank you to the owners for making such an incredible investment and to those (staff) who make it successful. I certainly hope we find our way back here someday! Anyone who gives it less than 5 stars probably can’t be made happy anyway. This is an absolute gem.”

“Isaias, the Marathon-native owner and chef fixed me up a plate of his special pineapple fresca chicken tacos (3). Wonderful! The lightly seasoned chicken and small slices of pineapple gave the tacos a unique sweet & salty tang. 5 STARS (And hopefully he can soon swap out styrofoam for paper to-go-boxes!)”

“We love coming to this quaint, cool-vibe bar.
We had the brisket nachos and old fashions and the people that come in from all over are so friendly. The bartender Corey is great, attentive and approachable. He certainly runs his rear off but he's definitely on top of his game and his drinks are delightful.”
