“This hotel far exceeded our expectations, everything from the remarkable staff to the detail of the hotel itself, the bar, outside areas, and ambience. Even the little things like the quality of the rooms (mattress, blankets, decor) even the bathroom sink and shower is beautiful! The food we ordered from the bar was delicious (crab cakes were scrumptious) and cocktails top-notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We talked about being on a road trip and the staff gave us some awesome pointers and suggestions, and the hotel guests sitting beside us joined in the conversation and we talked about the history of the hotel and things to do in the area for 2 hours! What an amazing experience. Thank you to the owners for making such an incredible investment and to those (staff) who make it successful. I certainly hope we find our way back here someday! Anyone who gives it less than 5 stars probably can’t be made happy anyway. This is an absolute gem.”

“The drinks are always excellent, my favorite being the spicy cowgirl, and the food is yummy! The service is top notch!! Adam is by far the BEST bartender! Highly recommend the White Buffalo Bar and the 12 Gage Hotel restaurant!!”

“The Gage Hotel and it's restaurant are exceptional. The laid back atmosphere, gourmet food and friendly staff have been consistent the three times I've been here. I will gladly drive 7 hours from my home to visit Marathon and The Gage and 12 Gauge!”

“Look out Chris Bianca, this town has a new sheriff! Ghostfire Pizza starts with an absolute baddy - Bertha. Let her gobble up some starter and 48 hours later BAM, your mom's favorite sourdough is ready to be stretched out and slathered in sauce. Did someone say sauce? You guessed it. Ghostfire's genetically enhanced, patented (secret) sauce recipe has never lost a contest it's been entered in. Is that basil? Eggplant? Shrimp? We will never know. It's like they say, just open up and let the Choo Choo train come in! One item painfully missing from the menu - RANCH. Legend has it, ghostfire pizza started when the owner lost his only son to a ranch addiction gone wrong. He is still alive and well, of course, as most ranch lovers find themselves in good health. But to Brent, his son has been lost, perhaps in a hidden valley, and his quest for a perfect pizza is fueled by a need. A need to make a pizza so heavenly, that one must not add ranch to satisfy the bite. An ode to his son, how beautiful. So think no more, pizza lover. Ghostfire will leave you satisfied, wanting more, dreaming about your next visit to this holy institution. And if you're like me, you will just bring your own ranch.”
