“Have you been to the Sky Island Taproom? Lately ?? Owner Mandy Casarez has put together a great team behind the bar and in the kitchen. My wife and I dined in on a recent Saturday afternoon, the food and the hospitality were excellent !! It’s nice to see the restaurant scene in Fort Davis rebounding after going through a tough stretch the last few years. Keep up the good work 😀👍”

“Kitschy.....only open a few days a week but worth the wait. We haven't been in since last last year (2024) but it has been all you can eat for $13, and is very good. Fried chicken and sides plus dessert, Chicken fried steak or fried fish (very tasty) on another day plus sides and dessert. Drinks extra. Call for days and menu. It's on the left with a large parking lot in front, as you leave Fort Davis on the highway to Alpine. Pretty annoying that one guy can give it one star and give no reason but not open when he wants it to be open (below)”

“We ordered at the counter. Very nice employees. owners. The restrooms are nice and clean. Plenty of seating. We chose to eat outside in the patio. The food came out surprisingly fast. The chips were nice and hot.and the red and green salsas are pretty good. We ordered the chicken floutas plates very delicious. We left The plates empty. We will visit again soon. Oh and be sure to bring cash. No cards accepted.”
