RNR Smokehouse Reviews
My mom took me for lunch and the brisquet was tender and you MUST try the elote! I can hardly wait to come back!
Outstanding barbecue and desserts! Highly recommend!
A wonderful hole in the wall place with interesting decor. The owners were friendly and it took us right back to the taste of Rauls' Barbecue that we knew for so long in Ft. Davis.

RNR Smokehouse is a cozy restaurant known for its homemade sides, including tomato/cucumber salad, coleslaw, bread, funeral potatoes, and tasty side dishes. Their ribs and brisket are highly praised for being tender and flavorful, with the brisket sandwich, especially the BHAT, considered the best. The sausage is also very tasty. Customers can enjoy sitting inside with air conditioning or outside on picnic tables while listening to good music. The atmosphere has a unique vibe, and the staff are friendly. The food is often described as amazing and out of this world, and the banana pudding is thick enough to eat with a fork. Visitors can enjoy views of the mountains outside and experience a warm, welcoming environment. This little place is highly recommended for anyone passing through or visiting the area.
The restaurant offers excellent food and service. The brisket is thick-sliced, tender, tasty, and moist, while the ribs fall off the bone and are very tasty with what seems to be a homemade barbecue sauce. The salsa, provided with every combo plate, is hot but tastes great. Customers can also add it to their ribs for an extra kick. The beans are very tasty with just the right amount of queso fresca crumbled on top. Visitors describe the place as a wonderful "hole-in-the-wall" with interesting decor, and the owners as friendly, taking them back to the taste of a well-known local barbecue spot.
