Isaias, the Marathon-native owner and chef fixed me up a plate of his special pineapple fresca chicken tacos (3). Wonderful! The lightly seasoned chicken and small slices of pineapple gave the tacos a unique sweet & salty tang. 5 STARS (And hopefully he can soon swap out styrofoam for paper to-go-boxes!)
Great little truck by the road to Big Bend outside of Marathon. The food was incredible, service was great. Definitely suggest the Al pastor and birria tacos. The pineapple Fresca was so delicious. Great spot also at the small visitor center with shaded picnic tables.
The Barbacoa tacos were AMAZING!!. The workers were super friendly. Everyone in our family was well pleased. You definitely should stop here if you get the chance.

El Camino is a great food truck outside of Marathon, near Big Bend. It offers delicious tacos like pineapple Fresca chicken, Al pastor, birria, and barbacoa, which are highly recommended. The pineapple Fresca drink is also very tasty. The food is incredible, and the service is friendly. It’s a small, convenient spot with shaded picnic tables, perfect for a satisfying meal.
