This place was just alright. I ordered brisket and ribs. The bark was so overcooked and dry on both that it was inedible. That is the best part of bbq and I had to toss it. Not really worth the price in my opinion. Cash only or you can venmo someone at the counter.

Terrific BBQ place. Stopped in during a weekend in Alpine. Had the ribs - large portion, very soft, great smoky flavor. Also really liked the potato salad. Definitely would come back.

Way too expensive for the portion size and for the taste. We had brisket, ribs, and pulled pork to try different stuff- but none of them were good (lack of crispness, smokey taste, ribs not tender/not falling of the bone)! We came here after seeing the reviews but were left disappointed. Had way better meat at Texas Roadhouse.

The brisket was really good with just the right amount of smoke. The coleslaw and Mack & Cheese was good. Also the BBQ sauce was a but plain, but flavorful, went well with the Brisket. It just took longer than expected to get the food order, and all they have is canned drinks.
My wife got their Frito Pie which used the spiral Fritos. I had a taste of that and definitely would have ordered.

Does not take card. Aggravating when you call in an order and aren't told when they don't take normal forms of payment. Square costs half of nothing. Food was okay compared to other BBQ. Potato was plenty big.
Well I really wanna like this place so I will start with the positive. The baked potato was amazing, The jalapeño sausage is very tasty, the Brisket just seemed normal nothing great but good. The Not so positive, potato salad was pretty bad and I really like mustard based tatter salad, the Coleslaw was very dry and no taste at all. Also they were all out of all the other side menu items. but what bothered me the most was the incompetence of Randy, Although being very friendly he just does not listen at all. I asked for sausage links NOT Sliced so I could make sausage wraps. I told him multiple times NOT to slice the sausage. well as you can see from photos he did not listen at all. we were the only customers in entire place as well. to many other food options in Alpine to try than this place again. thanks
