Hidden gem in Alpine, TX! Not enough people seemed to know about this place. I am a Texas BBQ snob…. And this was excellent. The brisket was done RIGHT. Went there twice in one weekend!
It wasn't open on Monday when we went, no sign no answer to phone call.

Excellent BBQ... meat always very tender with delicious bbq sauces. All the sides are very tasty. We try to go once a week.... It's a tiny, down home spot!If you love good BBQ.. it's a MUST!!!

My wife and I were looking for a good bbq joint, we drove to this hole in the wall place and almost turned around. I glad we went inside. The food was great! Brisket was moist and juicy, pulled pork was spot on and sausage was perfect.

Love this place! Thinking of their chopped beef sandwich makes my mouth water, & it's always overflowing with meat. I can't get enough of their sausage either. Cash or check only. Go early because they tend to sell out of some options. Take advantage of sitting outside at their picnic tables on beautiful days. Somewhat limited hours (well . . . for Alpine that is ?)

Brisket was tasty and moist but the pork ribs were dry. It was a little difficult to find the place. Service was good. Seems more like a take out place than eat in.

I've had better but for the only bar b q in this small town it was alright. They don't take cards so you better have some cash. I had to go to the ATM next door.Parking: Very limited parking. Only enough room for about 6 cars.
