I walked up and ordered the pastor tacos. For 12.00 you get a can of pop and five street tacos. Took it home and unwrapped it to find five corn tortillas filled with what almost looked like chorizo- no cilantro no onion and no pineapple like the pictures previously posted on here by others- there was only some crumbly meat - I'm pretty disappointed! Also I asked if you could mix up the tacos ( I like to try a little of each to see what's my favorite.) nope so needless to say- I won't be back. Overpriced for what I received - still searching for a great Mexican food place in this town.

They were open and friendly when we got there. The sauce was fine and neither of us got sick. So that's positive. The meat and tortillas were dry and the choice of toppings was cilantro or chopped onions. Definitely not worth the price.

Best taco place in alpine and the region. Right next to a bar with some outdoor benches that you can eat at. Plenty of parking. Must try the sirloin!

What a great meal! The grilled onions and pineapple on the tacos al pastor was superb. Now the best part, the truck is situated next to a bar. So you can get your drinks and walk over to the truck and take it back. At the truck they had water and sodas. Since we had our young son, we opted for sodas and sat at the picnic tables between the bar and truck. Great meal on the suggestion of our Airbnb host.

We stayed the night in Alpine on our road trip to New Mexico. At the recommendation of our Air BnB host we went to Tacos AB food truck. I got the sirloin tacos, my wife got the al pastor tacos. Fantastic. True Mexican street style tacos 5 to an order with all the fresh toppings you get to pile on your self. The red salsa was "melt your face off" hot; just the way I like it. The taco scene where we are from in Houston is pretty on. I think I would take these toe to toe any day. Will visit again. Can't believe they have had no reviews yet.

This was a treat. these students from Sul Ross University opened Taco AB one week ago. The pastor and brisket are the best. The truck is located next to Harry's Tinaja and you can take the tacos into Harry's and have a beer. Fun times and great food
