“Great place for downtown rock music as an alternative to the club scene. The staff is always helpful and interested in getting you what you need. The billiards area is small but if you get there early enough you get yourself a decent place to hang out with friends. Having three bars makes it easy to get a drink anywhere in this venue.
Parking: Don't expect to find parking near this place. Find yourself a parking garage or find some street parking nearby.“

“Bar with actual good food served late into the night! I love that this place is low key off the usual strips (uptown + downtown). 2 sides, the other side has couches if you want to get more comfortable/ intimate with your group. Great receptive staff“

“This place is more of a rental for families to get together. There are no pool tables, No jukebox. The bartender is friendly though. Lol
Parking: When they are full you have to park wherever you can.across the street is very dark and not part of the bar parking. So it's kinda scary leaving your car not to mention a female who came alone. ?“

“Brandon,was our server. Got to say, very attentive, on point with all 20 of our guests serving the food, getting our orders correct and making sure everyone got refills with out asking. We need more servers like Brandon. Cameroon area young Guy JR. I believe his name, also very attentive great customer service. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN BRANDON,and Jr. Made my daughters birthday party!! “Visiting RGV and came here for my cousin birthday hosted on fathers day. It's a small quaint dive bar, which I prefer anyday over a larger sports bar or nightclub anyday. Even though its a small place, they easily accomodated our large and expanding guest. Service was quick and drinks were cold.“

“The Dive has everything a cheers bar can have. The music is on point at times. But if you're not feeling it. Give a moment it will change. The food is pretty good. Always willing to please and help in any way. Party planning is a breeze with enough notice. Just like any bar, staffing has its moments. But most of the time, it's right on point.
It's always a great time. The busiest days are Friday and Saturday. But there have been a few times like storm, they had a crowd. ?
Parking: If you go and plan to leave your auto. Make sure it is parked within The Dive parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can go during hours up until 9 pm Sun-W and til 7, T-Sat“
“For those who are not familiar with McAllen Downtown. Thirsty and Suerte (The Bar next to it) are connected which is why you get food there. Thirsty is also sponsored by Jägermeister which is why the jägerbombs are 2 bucks. The patio outside is nice and chill. In all it's a place to get a quick shot and continue bar hopping“

“excellent service, pool tables are new and they have a long selection of imported beers, something no body has a big projector screen for games and fights and cold beer. also is a friendly place lots of parking space .Features: very large space so distancing is included, but mask wearing is optional, they have outdoor patio and inside tables are 6ft apart.“
