A very intoxicated woman threw a shot glass in my face. I was told by a bartender “get out of my bar”.
I had purchased a jamison shot for my man. Some intoxicated woman in her pajamas thought it was for her. I told her it wasn’t. I moved it out of her view. She had picked it up to drink it.
My man drank it. I gave her the empty glass. Informed her it was her drink. She threw jt at me. It hit me in my face. In her drunken state she still had good aim.
It took every inch of my soul not to do anything. Because jail ain’t cool.

The food is amazing, Service is welcoming and genuine, you'll be greeted with a smile. Very good selection of beer, plus draft beer. Cocktails are amazing with a new menu for every season and for events. The bartenders are on point and take pride in there craft. Pool tables have new felt, dart boards are internet ready. Plenty to keep the customers and community engaged at Big Axe Bar and Grill during the week plus the entertainment on the weekends. Highly recommend this establishment! 😀

They should re-evaluate their wait staff they are rude and condescending. They also like to throw receipts at you. Our waitress was a capital B word. The manager is more concerned with socializing then addressing customers issues. The food is great thats about the only positive thing I have to say about this location. You can't let your staff treat your paying customers like trash and argue with them. They are the bread and butter of this profession.
Bartender was great and made us feel welcomed. Will definitely be back when we're in the area

Came in from out of town. Was welcomed like a local and the bartender provided excellent service. Food was good and I happened to meet the owner and a regular who both seemed like very nice people. Was treated as a friend and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

Everything was fine until I got my order to go ! I ordered the big axe coconut shrimp to go , I got home and they were almost burnt too a crisp !!!!! Very , very poor, they should not have sent something like that home with someone, if they knew it was that bad do it over and make it correct. Very,very disappointed !! In my opinion something need’s to be done about this !!! Management needs to enforce the the quality of their to go orders, off that was brought to my table they would have heard about then !!!! I’m still going to take it back tomorrow and ask for my money back and let them see what they sent home with me !!!!

I've tried a few menu items and have liked everything. They make really good chili here too! They also have $2 drafts on Sunday but the reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because they took away Michelob as an option. It's now just Miller Lite, Bud Light and Coors Light. Sunday I drink Bud Light lol
Update 5/20/2025: had to change from a 4 to a 5 star. The chicken fried steak is delicious!!! The specials on Tuesday are perfect for my husband and I and he gets to play poker! This is our new spot! Oh and they make the BEST Bloody Mary's!!

My friend had her graduation party here Saturday evening. This was my first time here! The waitresses and the staff were all wonderful and very attentive! The food was great! I like how it’s kid friendly! My teen daughter was excited to play pool for the first time! I will definitely be back!
