“Fue una esperienza religiosa! We were going to QT for gas, but it was closed. We went to the Racetrack instead, and tacos called to me. I was in love at first bite….grabbed a handful of napkins in case I drooled too much. I stole the grilled jalapeño from my guy, and went to Glory mid-taco. Sooo good! Thank you, Lindale.”

Also I love supporting local businesses and not big chains owned by people with no soul like Starbucks etc. Great coffee and a nice relaxing atmosphere. They even have a nice bakery portion. Wonderful desserts to choose from.”

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.”

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!”

“I am not a fan of Waffle House, at all, however, both my girls and husband love it there. To be a good sport, I agreed to go as a family, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service, the food, and the cleanliness of the restaurant were all fantastic. Our sweet waitress, Mone, was so wonderful and very attentive. The cook, you can tell, is very proud of his food by the way it tasted. Miss Mone, was very sweet to my girls and she suggested that I try the blueberry waffles, and they were great!
