My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.”

“So I have to give an honest review of my brunch experience Saturday, June 6, 2026. We mainly went and I’m not sure if this episode was a rerun or if it was new but we saw the episode of Goodtaste with Tanji that was on channel 2 that morning. Husband ordered fish tacos and I ordered a burger. Fish tacos were good and the onion rings were all good. My burger was a little dry and the service was good. But my biggest disappointment was the Bloody Mary. I saw that they had a build your own Bloody Mary option on their brunch menu but according to the waitress it’s only available on Sundays so I did not get that so I just ordered a bloody Mary. I did tell the waitress to not put celery in it since I’m not a celery person and it would just go to waste. So she brought me my Bloody Mary and all it contained was two of the poorest, looking olives that I have ever seen. I think they were even smaller than the ones that you buy at the grocery store in the jars. The waitress did notice my expression on my face when she gave it to me and she asked me what was wrong. I asked, was this all that they give with the bloody Mary? I wasn’t looking for a meal, but I’d like to squeeze a little lemon and lime in my bloody Mary . she said let me see what I can get for you. And I wish I would’ve taken a picture of this, but she brought me back a plate that had two pieces of bacon, some spicy sauce (not sure what I was supposed to do with that) and another little cup that had some sliced pickled onions (husband put those on his fish tacos) and two stalks of green onion that look like they had been sitting In pickling juice at the bottom of the jar. I will say the bloody Mary itself had great taste, great flavor, but the presentation was horrible and I’m writing this review and hoping that they see this and they step up their game.”

It was absolutely perfect from the decadent Brioche bun, the rich crispy but light batter, the juicy chicken, perfectly sweet slaw and sauce with JUST the right amount of heat. When they sat it in front of me I didn't think I could eat it all it was so large.... but it was TOO PERFECT to not enjoy the entire thing. I only wish they were in Austin also. If your ANYWHERE within an hour of this place, it's worth the drive. The employees were also delightful, cheerful and appreciative. 50 STARS!!”

We go in to see what is open, The Puddery was closed, but as the owner was leaving she asked if we wanted one of the banana pudding she had left my husband said yes, I said no I will share with him (which I would regret later). We get on our way and star eating the banana pudding and OMG!!! The #keithlee review was spot on!!!! If you live anywhere near Houston you have to try The Puddery. This is coming from a banana pudding snob—-this is the best banana pudding I have ever had!!! It is light, fluffy , and creamy without out being puddingy, I don’t know what witchery this is but my God!!!”

“If you haven’t visited Pollo Bravo, you need to stop what you’re doing a run here! The minute you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a warm welcome. You can pick wherever you’d like to sit, and the waitress will bring you a menu. We usually start with the green plantains and the crispy taquitos. Each time I come (which is quite often), I try something different. Their food is always fresh and made to order. Their prices are fair and the quality of their food is out of this world! They are also family friendly, and have a kid’s menu. I have yet to be disappointed and I know you will feel the same, so the next time you are wanting to try something different bring your entire family!”

“I went in to First Cup today to try the coffee and breakfast sandwhich. I was impressed with the service (10/10) and cleanliness as well as the atmosphere. Very comfortable, cozy and warm. The coffee ( Americana with an extra shot of espresso) was made perfectly by Grace and the food (sausage,egg and cheese croissant) was on point. When Grace brought our food out it was just the right temperature. The restrooms were clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. I will be returning.”

I was having a really bad day and the ladies who helped me, I didn’t even get their names were so incredibly kind and genuinely helped lift my spirits. They probably don’t even realize how much their kindness meant to me, but it truly helped turn my day around.

“Today was my third attempt at hoping to give this place another chance. Just as the two prior experiences it was horrible and the the absolute worst. It started with seating and continued to go downhill from there. The poor waitress, who by the way had only been on the job a week did her very best to try and save us from this disaster, how much can she do when she was only one of three servers working. The food was subpar at best and the think that a meal with an average price point of nearly $100 we would not have been served food to be eaten on Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Three of four in our party ordered crab only to not be offered shell crackers or zippers, when we asked for some we were told they were locked in the office and the manager was in a meeting so she could not retrieve them! When we asked for the manager she offered an apology but confirmed this was the owner's policy, my guess is they must cost a million bucks to replace. The food was watery and luke-warm, the drinks had very little spirits and overall food was under seasoned. I beg you to NEVER wast your money or time on this place!”

“The general manager Lauren has absolutely NO customer service skills. They made our pizza wrong and refused to send out a new one made right. She said it was my fault for ordering with the call center and hung up on me. I called her back to let her know one of my employees was allergic to mushrooms. She said we better learn to like mushrooms because she wasn't remaking it. I 10/10 do not recommend this location to anyone. She treats customers like they are trash! We also asked for a receipt and didn't receive one. She said she would send if and when she had time. She also yells at you. I am not sure how she still has a job in management.”

The food and the customer service/hospitality here is excellent as well….Every interaction with all the staff has been great but I haven’t been able to catch everybody's name but I would like to give a shoutout to HOLLY, LUIS, JOHN, ARIANA, ZACH, KADEN, RICH, & NINA….most of the time when I come in they are working and are always so friendly, smiling, and helpful 💯GIVE THEM A PAY RAISE💯 Good/Hard workers are hard to come by especially nowadays!!
