“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

Today especially, I felt like I needed to leave a review. I was having a really bad day and the ladies who helped me, I didn’t even get their names were so incredibly kind and genuinely helped lift my spirits. They probably don’t even realize how much their kindness meant to me, but it truly helped turn my day around.

“I don’t usually do reviews. However, the service that my family
and I received was above and beyond the norm. Me, my wife and our two grandsons decided to go to Slim Chickens after church yesterday & from the beginning the service, as usual, was better than most other fast food establishments. However we took a long time ordering due to my wife is recovering from a mild stroke and one of my gsons is on the autism spectrum. The manager, “Sergio”, without hesitation assisted the cashier helping us with my coupon and military discount, making the process easy peasy.
My wife got the grilled chicken salad. The boys and I shared the Family 12strips+ 6 bone-in wings+8toasts+10sauces w/ fries + macaroni and cheese as the sides. It was cheaper to get the Gallon of sweet tea and we brought half of that home. The boys almost fell asleep in the booth. My entire crew fell in love with your Cayenne Ranch sauce, except for me I’m not a Ranch guy. I did turn them on to the Sweet Chili though. My only regret, is that I didn’t do a trial run (taste testing) with the sauces, before bringing ALL to the table. We brought home about 6 of the Ranch, whereas now they prefer the Cayenne Ranch & Sweet Chili sauces
Sergio must have come to our table at least 4 times after our food had arrived. He absolutely would not let me get up for anything! I salute Sergio and the staff at this location. I only wish that you were a little closer to home, selfishly, so that I come more often.
