The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. “A friend and I stumbled upon this place after church, we were originally looking for something hibachi. The decor, food and service was amazing. Even though they only had hibachi style and not where they cook in front of you I still thought it was very delicious, hats off to the chef. Although I do not live out in Pearland I would definitely make a special trip just for the yummy food and amazing service. My friend had the sweet and sour chick and I had the teriyaki chicken bento box.“

“For gluten-free peeps: Service was quick and food was good. I am gluten-free and I felt safe eating BBQ and coleslaw. It was my fault I should have asked if the coleslaw was gluten-free but I never in my life would expect ramen noodles in my coleslaw. So if you are gluten-free make sure to ask or let them know.“

“I always enjoy my experience at Vallenson's! They have great beer options on tap, indoor and outdoor seating, lots of outside lawn space for kids to run around, and TV's for sports watchers. Their staff is also super friendly and always helpful with beer recommendations :)“

“I had dinner here with my family for my nephew's birthday. When we arrived, everyone seemed very busy—there was no one to seat us, and even the waitress took her time. I’m not mentioning this as a complaint, but rather to commend the supervisor; even though it wasn't his job, he provided excellent service—he practically handled 80% of it himself—and I didn't get a chance to thank him. I highly recommend this place; plus, the food is delicious!“

“Casa Ole catered a birthday celebration for us, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish had that authentic, comforting Tex-Mex taste you hope for, with vibrant seasonings and generous portions.

The biggest surprise for me was the chicken fajitas. I am usually a beef-only person when it comes to fajitas, but the chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It was seasoned perfectly and grilled to perfection, making it just as satisfying—if not more—than the beef I typically order. The rice, beans, tortillas, and sides complemented everything beautifully, and our guests kept going back for seconds.

Beyond the food, the service was equally impressive. The team was professional, punctual, and organized, making the catering process seamless and stress-free. Everything was set up on time and presented attractively, which made hosting so much easier for us.

If you are looking for authentic, delicious Mexican Tex-Mex cuisine with reliable and polished service, Casa Ole is an excellent choice. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was, and we cannot wait to repeat the experience for our next celebration.“

“This is great if you want (what I call) Texas Cajun and not Louisiana Cajun. Their chicken fried steak and parmesan crusted chicken are both fabulous! The bisque is also amazing. My husband, who is from Louisiana, detests their crawfish. He says the Gumbo (which has a super dark rue) and the etouffee are ok but not his favorite. Overall, it seems like the fried and creamy sauced things are usually great. Also, we really like they usually have 80-90s music playing.

Updating (July 2026) to say that this place is hit or miss. When it's good, its great. However, more often than not, it's not as good as it used to be.“

“Recently, we hosted a luncheon at Italianos as part of my aunts celebration of life service. The team was extraordinary. Not only did Susie and Mauricio (manager) go out of their way to help me plan the menu and handle the buyout of the restaurant, Mauricio and Fernando (Manager) were so kind and welcoming day of the event. They were supported by an incredible team who made sure all of our needs were met and the buffet meal was delicious. Huge thanks to Paul, Arjana, and Geronimo and the kitchen team as well. You made sure we had a moment of joy in what was otherwise a sad day.

Can’t recommend Italianos I pearland enough! They have a great menu with delicious food and are an awesome place to host an event.“

“I’ve lived in the Houston/Pearland area for about 10 years and I’ve frequented this establishment often. Great food, service and overall atmosphere! My recent experience was not fun as my baby needed a diaper change and the men’s restroom did not have a changing station available. I was offered by staff with restaurant napkin cloths and was concerned it would be the same ones used to serve guests; I respectfully declined as I appreciated the effort and consideration. I recommend management installing one in the men’s room“

“Eats Mesquite Grill made my two week trip to Houston memorable. It started with the pork sandwich. How can I be so blessed? I did have to come back because I saw my jealous eyes on a full stomach saw someone else's ribeye. You can see my point, can't you? I couldn't get by without a breakfast burrito, the best I had in my life because there was not too much potato, and the potato it did have was both soft and crispy somehow. I had never had a buffalo burger before. After thanking God that buffaloes have revived as a species enough that we can make burgers out of them, I discovered that it isn't discernibly different than beef. The shrimp po' boy did not escape me, half gone already in the pic. It was my deepest regret to drive out on a Sunday, when they were closed. I had to go to online church to handle the disappointment (that's a joke, although I did go to online church afterwards). It was even sadder that my schedule would not permit a revisit in my last two days. Eats Mesquite Grill. I love you.“

“Thanh Phuong is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. I ordered the mixed beef pho, a Vietnamese sandwich, Vietnamese spring rolls, and Vietnamese tea. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned.

The pho had a rich, satisfying broth, and the beef was cooked perfectly—tender and not chewy, which can sometimes be an issue at other restaurants. The fresh vegetables served alongside the pho were crisp and plentiful.

The Vietnamese sandwich was delicious, the spring rolls were fresh and tasty, and the Vietnamese tea was a great addition to the meal. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

One thing I really appreciated is that they also serve Chinese food. If you have family members who aren't as adventurous with Vietnamese cuisine, there's something for them too. My husband was able to find plenty of options he enjoyed, which makes it an easy restaurant for the whole family.

The restaurant was very clean, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Friendly staff, great food, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a place I would happily visit again.“
