“This place is a staple among my friends. The atmosphere is fantastic with dim lights, quiet music, and plenty of seating. The food is delicious, there’s not a thing that I’ve tried that I haven’t liked. Their wine menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. Their selection of cake is a must try. My favorite is the Boston Cream Cake. The service is wonderful, and their bar/kitchen staff are attentive and kind.“

“do not get the pizza. The crust is so hard it could possibly break your teeth used to have the best crust in town but something happened crust is too dense, not fluffy and crisp. The way it used to be.“

“The menu is quite large with so much variety. Their house salad dressing is really delicious and if you choose the pasta Alfredo as your side you won’t believe how big the portion is. My husband got the stuffed red fish and for the first time ever couldn’t eat it all. I recommend sharing an entree so you can save room for dessert which I hear the bread pudding is delicious. I just didn’t have room“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

I ordered the Gulf red snapper along with the fried alligator and kept it simple with a couple of bottled waters. The snapper was fresh and cooked just right flavorful, tender, and definitely the standout of the meal. The fried alligator was a fun addition too, crispy on the outside and nicely seasoned. “My husband is working here in Texas and we came by 2/17/26 for supper and it was amazing. The steak was great, the brisket was way better than our bbq place back home and the ribs were great. The BBQ sauce was to die for. I had ordered the sausage but then was told it was sold out which was okay because we came around 9pm. We tried all the things that diners drive in and dives tried. Let’s just say if my husband comes back to this part of Texas we will be back ohhh and let’s not forget the armadillo eggs those things was amazing my husband have talked about how good they were all night and day. The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! Please feed us your fantastic food when people eat dinner at dinner time. Please stay open with delivery until 10pm everyday.

“Delightful New Orleans style brunch with chandeliers and choice of buffet or menu. I’ve had the buffet both times I’ve been here, nice variety of choices including crab and peel and eat shrimp. Don’t miss the banana foster French toast made on demand, or the carving table prime rib. Looks like an expensive bougie place but even the buffet is only $40 and the menu items very reasonable.

The manager, Doug, was amazing at accommodating our big group on little notice, even when we had additional people join our table. No fuss, just made sure everyone felt welcome. Our waiter Chris prepared a special treat for a birthday boy with us. And overall just made sure everybody was taken care of and had a good time.

“Honestly I’ve been coming here for years, and the food is always affordable, and delicious. The chips and salsa are kinda meh, but I go there for the actual food, and always skip out on that because the chips there aren’t very tasty. If you’re looking for super authentic then you might be disappointed. Now it’s not full blown Tex Mex, but it definitely has its influences on some of the dishes. The tortillas are homemade, and the staff is nice. Parking can suck at times.“

“They catered a celebration of life we had today. All the food was fantastic. The ribs were perhaps the best I have had in a long time. 9 out of 10. The only issue was we asked for half white bread and half rolls and only got bread. But that was the only misstep. Everything else was excellent. Everyone was more than pleased.
