“Ive been coming here for many years. Its little piece of neighborhood flavor. American fare with exorbitant portions and family friendly pricing. The steam table lunch/dinner options are just good old American choices like grandma used to make. From meatloaf to liver and onions with two sides(many daily choices of entree and sides) that will having you take home leftovers as your next big meal. I highly recommend for the ambiance, the staff and the family friendly pricing. This place has been here as long as I can remember(since 1952). Early closing times so check their website/Facebook page or call for operating hours. Will post pics next time I come here.“

“Makes you feel like you’re home. Handmade tortillas and really good customer service. Like the señora calls me mijo and just brings back memories from mi pueblito. There is flavor not just in the food but also in the atmosphere. The chairs and decor is basic however what really matters is the food and atmosphere. Toilets were clean and the dining area was clean as well . Tables didn’t have any sticky residue. The menudo is very good just ask them to take a bit of the grease off and ask for extra limes and onion to complement it. Wash it down with a horchata and you’ll be a happy camper for the rest of the day.“

“Authentic Nicaraguan food, this what my in-laws from Nicaragua said. I have been there last year so I decided to come back with them and they loved the food. I really liked their frittanga de res, and their cacao drink. I wish it was closer to my house to visit them more often!“

The food was good, average spread of what you would expect from a Chinese buffet at decent quality. I had not been to a Chinese buffet in about 15 years and I guess many things have changed to the Chinese buffet business. They do not put the soy sauce on the table anymore, they had to go packets over by the buffet line, they do not give you chop sticks anymore, and the cost has gone up considerably since I last frequent Chinese buffets. You used to go there because the food was very decent and the cost was less than you would spend at a restaurant that’s not all you can eat. This time it was me my 8 year old and my 2 year old. I assumed my 2 year old would not pay because… you know, he is two, he can’t eat much… adult buffet 16.99, Kids buffet 12.99, under 3 year kid buffet 2.99 plus 2.99 each drink. It came out to 41 bucks… lol for that bill I could have gone to a steakhouse and have a ribeye and 2 kids meals. But anyway just wanted to share this so people know what it cost for Chinese buffets now days. Now, i enjoyed it… I just wouldn’t bring the kids who would eat 1 slice of pizza 3 nuggets and a cheese stick, and the baby would eat 3 nuggets… lol
For adult at 20 bucks all in it’s alright.“

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

“After seeing on television that the restaurant won a James Beard award, I put it on my list of places to go. The expectations were pretty high, and our party was not disappointed. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves“

“I was craving fish and chips and this spot hits it! The tartar sauce fantastically compliments the fish. I will be coming back for my future fish and chips craving. Thank you to Taylor our server for your help. We got half dozen sticky green Thai wings and they were incredible. The steak and frites in medium was good and the classic burger was tasty. Overall, we would get these items again. I fell in love with St. Arnold’s citrus shandy so I had to come try it at the brewery! There is a designated parking lot and the restrooms were very clean.“

The Food: Got the classic cheeseburger and fries combo ($20). The burger is a fantastic, high-quality, old-fashioned cheeseburger. No crazy gimmicks or fancy sauces, just incredibly fresh ingredients prepared with care. The only downside? The fries felt like standard frozen ones—this burger deserves fresh-cut fries!

Waited less than ten minutes and we were seated and had our food in the next ten. Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of chatter and kitchen sounds. Just the perfect spot.
