“Honestly I’ve been coming here for years, and the food is always affordable, and delicious. The chips and salsa are kinda meh, but I go there for the actual food, and always skip out on that because the chips there aren’t very tasty. If you’re looking for super authentic then you might be disappointed. Now it’s not full blown Tex Mex, but it definitely has its influences on some of the dishes. The tortillas are homemade, and the staff is nice. Parking can suck at times.“

“If I could give Sam Ramen ten stars, I would. My family and I discovered this gem on Christmas Eve 2024, and it has genuinely become one of our greatest finds in Pasadena. Over a year of weekly visits later, we are still just as excited to walk through that door every single time.

The food is outstanding. Every bowl is rich, comforting, and exactly what a great ramen experience should be. And if you are wondering where to start on the menu, let me make it easy for you: the cowboy roll is my absolute favorite. I could eat it every single day and never get tired of it. My husband, for his part, swears by the sweetheart roll and will not be talked out of it. Honestly, order both and thank yourself later. The staff treat you like family from the moment you arrive, and that warmth never fades no matter how many times you come back. The atmosphere pulls you in instantly, cozy and lively in all the right ways, and the family friendly vibe makes it a place we are proud to bring our kids week after week.

Ive been coming here for almost 10 years and the food never fails to impress me. Always so flavorful and very affordable. Yesterday was my first time dining in for my dad's birthday and it didn't disappoint. Plates were overflowing with food, staff were very friendly and attentive. Love it! If you've never tried their food it is a must.“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. “We went to Salt grass in Pasadena to get the Prime Rib. we were told by Alex that it's served only on Friday and Saturday night. we thought about leaving because my girlfriend wanted Prime rib.When Alex came back with our tea he said he talked to someone and got the Prime Rib approved. “Morning Kolaches has been a long time favorite of ours. We've been regulars of the Deer Park and Pasadena location since 1999. Our favorites are Sausage and Cheese, Jolly peeno Popper, Ham and Swiss, Cream Cheese and the Ranchero. They have always very friendly at both locations.“

He has a charisma that not all people usually have. The customer service she provides is quality. It makes you feel welcome every time. How he treats his employees in front of customers, I loved it. I had gone at that time before because they had told me that they sold Millefeuille. Millefeuille is my weakness. She took the time to take my phone number and let me know when the millefeuille would arrive. Today he called me and told me that they had arrived!!! I am super happy with the service and her. Typical American Chinese fast food menu but the taste and quality of the food served is what makes it stand out compared to all the other drive thru oriental fast food places within a 10 mile radius of the South Houston/Pasadena area. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off their menu. Attentive, professional staff at the drive thru order station and pick up window. There is dine in available but I've only ever picked up food to go. I drive here over the three other businesses closer to my home. Recommend. Atmosphere I never give 5 stars unless its an exceptional dine in experience. Fast food joints can never rate 5 stars for this reason.“
