We had lunch at Hippo Burgers today for their Grand Opening in Conroe. Their burgers are big and juicy. Food was hot and fresh!!! Service was amazing!! Welcome to Conroe!!!!

While the atmosphere may be more subdued than expected, the clean and easily navigable space is perfect for enjoying a tasty and fairly priced meal like the avocado burger with Cajun fries. The onion rings are super crispy "bag type" and had a hard fried. The chili cheese dog was the best, with a grilled bun and hot dog, and the tater tots came out crispy. The menu is expensive, with over $9 for a single patty with cheese and shakes almost $7. The cashier was not rude and the restrooms were clean. Service is outstanding, with staff who care about getting things right and make the ordering process stress-free.
