“This is why I love Yelp. I'm giddy when Yelp reviews point me to places like this, that I never would have found on my own. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the vibes we found at Cochinita! We ordered The Desayuno (not pictured because my husband dug in before I could snap one) and the 3 Leches French Toast, a latte and a London Fog. All plates were emptied before we left. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and was beautifully plated. They have a collection of house made sauces and oils available to spice up your meal (and you can even purchase some to take home.) Cochinita is a real treat. The neighborhood is worth a cruise after breakfast for the murals, too!“
“Taste : ✅Value for money : ✅Service : ✅Ambience : ✅---Order review.Truffle fries were great but the portions are small. Don't expect this fries to last for a table.Lawnmower fries with queso was like most fries, nothing special.Mushroom pizza is the best out of the 4 dishes that we tried here.Hummus was refreshing with some flat bread and fresh veggies.“
“Great burger, onion rings, and shake. Nice outdoor area to enjoy lunch with some great weather.Parking: There's no dedicated parking lot, only parking along adjacent streets. We come here on bikes, is not too far from the Harrisburg Trail and the dedicated bike lane on Polk.“
“The interior is very well done. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. I enjoy that there is a little patio outside with outdoor seating as well. The employees were super respectful and very nice. I genuinely enjoyed the conversation we had and their help in going through their menu options. I really like that the caffeinated teas are in a different color on the menu than the non-caffeinated ones, very nice touch.I ordered a to-go caramel macchiato and it was very good. The beans were flavorful and the caramel was exactly as I needed. I also like that the employees hand you your beverage so you really get the opportunity to sit down and take in their well set up atmosphere.“
“When I tell you this place has THEE best jumbo jalapeno kolaches & glazed donuts... I'm NOT even joking. Hands down, way better than Shipley's Donuts. This location is worth waking up out of my sleep (GOOD SLEEP ?) to get out of bed & run up here to buy these. Love it, love it, love it. You must go here. Preferably this location that's on Sabo Rd.“
“Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. The beer selection was on point for both myself and my wife who enjoy very different styles. The food truck that was there was perfect for a good snack. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have some sort of wait staff on a busy day so we didn’t have to wait in line at the bar. But overall great experience. Keep making great beer. We will be back for sure.“
“What a neat Food-stand? Food-counter? There's a word for this in Hindi but for street food, so this is similar except that it's only coffees, drinks, and pastries. I read that the chef is from New York, but I especially like the location. I always go for their seasonal drinks but my husband always goes for latte with alt milk. Whenever I decide to walk the Columbia Tap Trail, this is a nice stop land treat about halfway through the trail. I feel rewarded. Although I have seen regulars here with their pups and those who also just look like they just popped out of bed for some coffee (I can relate)! It's nice to see that this place is still flourishing since the pandemic I'm sure I'll be back!“
“We just discovered this gem today and can't believe we've been missing out all this time. The boba is yum. The chicken tenders are MASSIVE, delicious and HOT, and the ambience is super cute. We will be coming back after every soccer game. Love!“
“What? You only have fries? They actually have additional items and please refer to the updated menu that I posted. They are a bit pricey, and their prices have gone up significantly in past few months. I’m not sure if that is because of the supply and demand issue.I enjoyed the taste and the freshness of the food. I ordered a small portion of Bayou fries. Will I order this again? Absolutely. They are a bit pricey, but you can be the judge of the taste and portion size. I have posted what I ordered in the attached pictures.Enjoy…!!Vegetarian options: They serve vegan fries, but I did not verify if they are 100% vegan without cross contamination and fried in a different oil separately.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.“
“Rosewater in Clear Lake is well known for the originality of its fine cocktails and has an excellent, well deserved reputation. The food is also outstanding as management continues to add to the menu. Tonight I ordered a smash-burger and it never fails to deliver. The staff was their pleasant, obliging selves and always seem to want to make you feel welcomed. The expansion of the bar adds needed space & offers a third choice in seating. It seems being accommodating to patrons is Rosewater's over riding theme.“
“this is one of my favorites, snowcone places in the entire world, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They also have amazing candies for great prices and this is such a nice little treat on the east end and kind of a hidden secret if you don’t know about it. If you like snow cones, I would definitely recommend this place because they have amazing, soft ice ice and their flavors penetrate each part and their customer service is so nice and considerate and I am pretty sure it’s a small business so you feel really good supporting the family. As always love from the universe. ?❤️??❣️? Vegetarian options: great snowconesParking: great amount of spots to park for the amount of people who comeKid-friendliness: amazing for kids and familyWheelchair accessibility: accessibility is good with a nice parking lot and theres an area with shade and you can get help with your order, the people are so nice“
“In my personal experience, it has been quite some time since I have indulged in a Greek gyro. Today, I made the decision to visit Gyro Guys in La Porte. To succinctly summarize my experience, I would use the term "exceptional." I had been eagerly anticipating a gyro and am pleased to report that this was an unexpected delight. The superior quality, texture, and distinctive flavor of the succulent lamb/chicken platter, complemented by tzatziki sauce, vegetables, and a side of pita bread, were truly remarkable.I would like to express my gratitude to Carliee (with two "E's") for her recommendation of the medium platter, which proved to be the optimal choice. The gyro cheese fries were delightfully crispy and delicious. While the restaurant was clean, the ambiance appeared somewhat outdated. A renovation of the interior and some minor aesthetic adjustments to the decor would be beneficial. In conclusion, I strongly recommend Gyro Guys in La Porte to anyone seeking a novel culinary experience. Your taste buds will undoubtedly express their appreciation.“
“I have been to every place in Houston that sells pizza that’s worth going to and this one has the best pizza hands down. The dough is fantastic, crispy and chewy. Sauce is tangy and robust. Nice ratio of cheese. Very impressed as I wasn’t expecting it be so good. Definitely a hidden gem in the East End.“
“Our server was awesome. As she was taking our appetizer order the female manager(Daniella) decided to yell across the restaurant at our waitress. She told her to stop what you’re doing and come get the food. She came back to take our order crying and informed us she was told to take our order then clock out and go home. That didn’t sit well with me. I almost said something but thought not my place to do so though I probably should have. That manager really needs a reality check and maybe some time off to maybe make a change in the way she treats employees and guests as well.“
“My sister, good friend and I went to this place and I had never been before. This place is really cute. Live music. Your furry children and human children are allowed.I do not eat seafood at all but sister and friend are crawfish gals did say it was very good. Food had their noses runny from hotness lol they have a variety of drinks I was sad there was no option for myself to enjoy food wise but told other than Wednesdays and Saturdays. There are other options otherwise. Wednesdays and Saturdays is when they have crawfish and gumbo only.I will def go back with my husband as he is a hardcore crawfish eater his self as well.FYI people did have lawn chairs and sat in open areas where they chilled and drank and enjoyed live music and away from tables so others coming in could sit and eatMy sister got 5 pounds of crawfish and the alcohol drinking token package so it was about $90 for her alone. My bestie got 3 lbs crawfish, and the same alcohol drinking token package she spent $60 for herself. So, depending on what you drink, how much and of course how much you eat will depend on what the price for you will be.Parking: Don’t wear heels wear some shoes parking on crushed concrete outsideKid-friendliness: Lots of space for kids to walk, bring stroller or wagon as well because you’ll have room to put next to your table and still not be in way. A few people had lawn chairsWheelchair accessibility: The garage looking doors are opened all the way and can be entered from there as well. I recorded that on video uploaded as well.“
“Wonderful place with some hometown diner feel for quality and service. The burgers are perfect and my friend who eats vegetarian food loved the veggie hoagie. Its loaded with sauteed veggies and avocado, he says it's very filling (that thing literally heavy). The prices here are insanely reasonable too. I've been coming here for orders of 7-8 people and spending less than $80.Vegetarian options: Veggie hoagie/ burger“
“Amazing pub with even better owner's. Me and my brothers stopped by once and they were going to close when we got there so they gave us each a beer free of charge and talked about the place and a bit about them. I'll definitely be sure to make this place a regular of mines.“
“I had an amazing experience at this brewery during an office party. Being the oldest craft brewery in Texas, the place exudes history. The restaurant's artistic decor and Game-of-Thrones vibe with wooden beams and chandeliers create a unique atmosphere.Inside, chapels filled with captivating artwork add to the charm. There's also outside seating by a fountain resembling an overflowing beer chalice, providing a delightful setting for a meal. The Beer Garden, adorned with art cars, adds to the overall appeal.I highly recommend this spot for not just the excellent food and brewery, but also for the rich artworks and historical ambiance. A must-visit!“
“(Women) She has been on my rump since this morning to leave a comment about our experience also, first time trying a funnel cake at The Funnel Bar yesterday at Radius West Apartments. My wife Mandy grabbed herself a cookie butter crunch, and I tried the strawberry cheesecake both were delicious. My wife has became obsessed with them lol, but over all we had a great first time experience and would love for you guys to return soon.“
“Awesome brewery! Bartenders are super friendly and space is clean and very inviting. Best part.. all The plants decorating the space are for sale! Highly recommend checking out with friends or family for a fun day. Very dog friendly as well!“
“The drag show at New Potato was SO much fun. The drinks were great and affordable and the staff went above and beyond to suggest drinks we'd like. They were wonderful. Yes, the patio is incredible. It was easy to find, there were dogs, kids, great music, and drag queens! The New Potato has it all!“
“I am not from the area, not even from Texas! The food, service, and ambience here are great and I am a little tired from my 3.5-hour flight.Quality starts from the top in terms of leadership. Everyone is pleasant and just formal enough to be professional enough but toned down to be family-friendly. Diana is the manager and she leads by example. If she were to leave the shoes would be too big. Our server, Juan, is a great ambassador for the restaurant and menu; a great server.Compared to where I live I am happy not to hear foul language from the tables around us. Pleasant music is playing too. What a great place to eat. Sincerely.“
“Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop in Houston. All of the baristas are literally so sweet and care so much about you having a perfect experience. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and we were easily able to find a seat—which I’ve never experienced at any other Houston coffee shop but they literally have so much space and seating it’s lovely. I had both the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Nutella Crepe and both were phenomenal. Will absolutely be returning.“
“Had a late night craving for (good/quality) birria. Called as they were about to close but they still honored my order. I ordered the birria tacos and it was the BEST I've had in houston so far. Flavorful consume and NOT greasy. One taco had enough meat filling for two. It's a little far from me but I'm willing to make that drive.“
“Hidden Gem for Beer Enthusiasts in Pearland AreaWe recently discovered a hidden gem in Pearland, Texas – a nano brewery that exceeded our expectations. The beer selection is nothing short of impressive, offering a diverse range that caters to every palate. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, they have it all. Not living in Pearland since my grade school days it was a nice surprise to see a brewery. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for an intimate gathering or a laid-back evening with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you navigate the extensive beer menu. While we didn't get a chance to try the food menu during my visit, leaving us eager to return for a complete culinary experience. If you're a beer enthusiast looking for a relaxed atmosphere and a superb beer selection, this nano brewery in Pearland is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of what they have to offer!“
“Very chill outdoor bar. The bartenders are cordial and friendly.Except for a large awning in front of the bar, seating is all outdoors.Went for their BOGO Burger Tuesday deal with some friends. Everyone was happy with their burger choices, guy and the burgers are grilled to order. Really good selection of burgers to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a low-key casual, patio bar.“
“Parking is limited and the line can be long.. but the snow cones are well worth the wait! They make their snow cones with the best shaved ice around. There is no chucks of ice in your cup waiting to break one of your teeth. You can order an ice cream whiz, which is a snow cone with ice cream on the bottom. My favorites are the root beer and orange. They taste just like and a root beer float and an orange ice cream popsicle. You can add extra toppings on your snow cone if you want. They offer all the usual flavors as any other place.“
“This was our first time getting donuts in the eat end and to be honest this place was amazing! They are very sweet and welcoming we had a dozen donuts; they were fresh, yummy and my 4 year old ate all of it not just the chocolate part. He loved them ?? the kolaches were great & the ham egg and cheese croissant as well . There vanilla iced coffee was also amazing ?? 5 starts hands down better than Shipley ‘s . Nothing we got was stale ???This is officially our donut place ? Thanks again for the yummy food ?“
“We absolutely love this place. The people are wonderful and the drinks/shakes/etc are all delicious. You will not be disappointed with any choice you make that's for sure. Also, for what you get, the prices are not bad at all. Definitely worth a trip!“
