“I was told this is a Houston staple and no lies were told! I’m an old soul and this is a community joint! First, the oldies playing smoothly in the background just put me right at ease. “We started at the Bar Happy Hour and has a Tommy's Margarita and roasted Oysters both of which were terrific. We then were seated for dinner and the staff greeted us with a sparkling wine starter because it was our anniversary. I had the blackened red snapper and my wife had the short rib ravioli both of which were 5 star! We were treated with an anniversary chocolate treat to end the dinner. All were fantastic.“

“My husband & I were in Town for 5 days and found this Vegan Restaurant that I had to give a try on Day 3. The atmosphere and the wait staff was of peace and friendly vibes. The food and drinks, absolutely amazing. And while waiting for our driver we had the pleasure of meeting and talking with the owner. I highly recommend. “I’ve been here a few times, hang out with friends and for events. They have a nice selection of beer, good music, can play games. It can get crowded, but the inside is big enough that it usually doesn’t feel packed.

One thing to keep in mind: it can get really hot during the summer when they open up the large front windows—Houston humidity with no breeze is no joke. But the back section for live music has A/C. They don’t serve food, but there’s always a good food truck parked out front. Nice spot to meet up with friends or catch an event.“

“This is one of those local gems that you rarely encounter. The people here are some of the coolest, most interesting, and welcoming people you'll meet. The beer and wine selection is fantastic and obviously curated in a specific way with thought and personality behind it… so good taste. You can play darts (it's definitely a thing here!), order food in, bring the kids, or even work with your laptop middle of the day. My husband and I live nearby and have been coming here for over a year, usually more than once a week... probably more often than we should. It’s a proper cool ass local.

Food, vibes and staff are all magical. There is nowhere else in Houston that is as nice to hang out. It's been awesome to see the many updates and changes they have had over the years.

My only complaint is that seating isn't always comfortable. Probably strategic so people don't camp out all day, but I'm short so my legs fall asleep sometimes.

Despite that I will keep going back. This place feels like home.“

“As you walk in you are greeted asked how many in your party and preference for seating. I only had time to enjoy a couple appetizers and a nice Prosecco but it was very much enjoyed and very fresh. The bruschetta was spectacular as was the pachino caprese.👌 The homemade bread you're served fresh as well as the one from the bruschetta are not the same and I'm left intrigued and wanting to comeback and try some more...I will definitely be revisiting! The service was exceptional as well. The only issue I had was the lighting was a little low and there was a small gnat that was hard to spot flying around. To start, a huge shout out is in order to Christian and Simoneth for being so friendly and for going above and beyond! I went big and got the Reaper tender. I was out on the patio and after one bite I was STRUGGLING! Nothing I did was helping. Hindsight, I should have gotten a milkshake to have ready. Seeing me miserable and pacing back and forth, they quickly handed me a cup with some ice cream in it. Going that extra mile for me without even asking them to really deserves the highest of praise. Thank you times infinity!!

Before going for the reaper, I got a mild tender and a medium slider. Both were SOO fresh! Adding pickles, Dave’s sauce, and a drizzle of honey made it THE BOMB! The fries were fresh and the Hot Honey Mozz sticks had a great flavor and cheese pull.

I finished the meal off with a fruity pebble milkshake!
