“Came here to study, bartender’s name was Jack and they were super sweet!! The vibe here is good, plenty of outlets and space to sit. They run specials (outside of a happy hour) on certain drinks of the day which is neat. The coffee bar on the bottom closes at 5pm and then the cocktail bar up top opens at 5:30. The sours were on point, will be back!“

“Came on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see a happy hour menu. We tried several drinks and found them all to be well balanced and very tasty. The true start of the show is, of course, the sushi. The sashimi platter was beautifully presented, and all of the fish was fresh. It was some of the best tasting and most tender sashimi I've had. The spicy chopped scallop nigiri was also excellent. Service was friendly and prompt.“

“I don’t post often, but this was a remarkable dining experience. My wife and I recently shared a a special menu item- a beautifully braised veal shank with rich jus and almond gremolata- paired with saffron risotto, stewed artichokes, and a bright arugula-preserved lemon salad (plus brioche to soak up every drop of jus). Btw- Though it was noted “for 2” the veal was large enough to feed (4) hungry adults.

As always, Bar Bludorn delivers polished service, refined food, and an excellent wine and cocktail program- the reasons we keep returning to both Bar Bludorn and Bludorn.“

“We had an amazing experience at Balboa! Starting with the complimentary valet, which was quick and friendly service. The entry to the restaurant was super nice and a great photo opportunity spot. Kyrah took excellent care of us during our visit, and we loved the team style service. It felt like we had a team serving us, and they are so quick and quiet that you can continue to hold conversations and visit but someone is always near if you need anything. Kyrah took special care to "refresh" our cocktail glasses when we finished about half of our drinks, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our table tried the fried shrimp, oysters, spicy ahi tuna roll, crab cake, Post Oak ribeye with pureed potatoes, salmon with the most delicious and unique salad, and heirloom tomatoes. The cocktails were delicious, including the Gold Rush, Rum Dum, and el Guero. The restaurant vibe is romantic but fun and sophisticated and has an open kitchen concept where you can see the food being made if you care to watch. I will most definitely be back and can confidently recommend this place to anyone!“

“Bar Moon has a great atmosphere, and the drinks were very good. The food is mostly basic bar bites, so I wouldn’t recommend coming here hungry—it’s better suited for drinks or a nightcap.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our waitress was sitting nearby, yet I repeatedly had to flag her down whenever we needed something. She also removed my drink before I had finished it without asking. Overall, she seemed unbothered and inattentive, as though we were simply there rather than guests she was supposed to assist.

I would return for the atmosphere and drinks, but the service definitely needs improvement.“

“We had our engagement party at Berwick’s Birds of Paradise, and we truly couldn’t have picked a better place! They made the entire experience so special and effortless. The space is absolutely adorable and beautifully decorated, so we barely had to do anything in terms of decorations, which was such a huge plus.

They were also incredibly accommodating and allowed us to bring in our own sign and cake. One of my favorite touches was that they placed the champagne bottles we ordered in ice buckets so our guests could easily serve themselves, while still having the bar available.

The atmosphere, attention to detail, and overall vibe made the evening feel so special. Our guests loved the space, and we received so many compliments throughout the evening. “I walked in and asked someone nearby for a menu .He said menus are online rudely and walked off . I stood up there for a few minutes no one came back up to greet me or take my order . As soon as some Caucasian people walk in a man came out back greeted them & seated them all while I was just standing there . I just left respectfully . I was shocked that this place of business only caters to certain races not the African Americans and I normally dine in at the Mexican Restaraunt but I seen that a new spot opened up and I wanted to support . My family has been̈ treated very nice at the Mexican restataunt in the same shopping center everytime we go Customer Service is superb . This Educated African American will happily spend her black dollars where it is appreciated .You all need to take notes on welcoming everyone to your place of business regardless of color .“

Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. The sushi chefs were also on their phones while making the sushi, which was unhealthy. Despite the germy seasoning, the food was amazing.“
