Super fun spot with delicious craft cocktails. Before dinner at Hando we always have a drink or two at Kanpai Club.
Kanpai Club is such a hidden gem. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, making it a great spot to hang out after dinner. The drinks are amazing everything tastes fresh, balanced, and made with care. The bartenders are also a big reason I’ll keep coming back. They’re friendly, funny, and make the whole experience feel welcoming. Definitely worth checking out if you’re at Hando Sushi Bar!
JJ and Chris were the bomb! They were so nice and made any drink I requested with the biggest smiles on their faces! They even played all the jams! Overall an amazing exercise for my first time and I will be back!!! Thanks for making me feel so welcomed guys!

Kanpai Club is a cozy and intimate Japanese-themed bar located inside Hando, reminiscent of a traditional izakaya with a fun yet chill atmosphere. The small space, with a capacity of less than 20, offers a great vibe with hip hop music and a friendly staff that is attentive and knowledgeable. The bar features an extensive liquor selection, including some rare Japanese whisky like Hibiki 21, which can be pricey, but the drinks are well crafted. The cocktail list includes Japanese and globally inspired drinks such as the Japanese Swizzle, Lychee Keen, and Thai Tea Gin Fizz, all prepared with Asian ingredients like lychee and yuzu. The signature espresso martini is highly recommended, along with other solid cocktails. The small bites menu includes favorites like curry croquette, perfect for a relaxed hangout. During busy times, seating at the bar or tables can be tight, and parking can be limited in the small lot, so street parking nearby is often needed. The happy hour offers well-balanced and cleverly concocted house cocktails that are very tasty, and bar snacks like vegetable bao and shrimp lolipops are highly recommended. The service is friendly and welcoming, with staff like Jorge and Mandy creating a fun and creative atmosphere. A divine drink with ube is available, and the potato croquettes are a hit. Despite the potential noise and limited space, Kanpai Club remains an ideal spot for drinks and a nice ambiance, reminiscent of an izakaya in Japan. Some dishes, like Mentaiko Pasta, are not served before 10 or 11 pm, which is a small inconvenience but does not detract from the overall experience.
