“Rosewater in Clear Lake is well known for the originality of its fine cocktails and has an excellent, well deserved reputation. The food is also outstanding as management continues to add to the menu. Tonight I ordered a smash-burger and it never fails to deliver. The staff was their pleasant, obliging selves and always seem to want to make you feel welcomed. The expansion of the bar adds needed space & offers a third choice in seating. It seems being accommodating to patrons is Rosewater's over riding theme.“

“My wife and I dined here on a Thursday evening, and were sat somewhat awkwardly across from a group of three women dining together. We were the only people in the restaurant. The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.“

The wait staff is friendly and helpful and with the great food we had a wonderful dining experience. We loved the oysters also.Visited again. Brook was our waitress and she was wonderful. Food was great as always. We have returned many more times but I don't know how to leave another review. Perfect dining experience.“

“Super cool spot with amazing food and drinks! Everything we had was super fresh and the service was awesome as well! Definitely recommend the crispy beef puffs! The filling was slightly sweet and the pastry was layered and perfectly crispy! They make some really good cocktails too. I recommend their lemon drop! The inside of the restaurant is absolutely adorable and they even have a flower wall if you want a photo op!“

“I like Kipp Rose. Cornhole, big chess, 1 pool table. There is a nice fire pit with swings around it. “Had an amazing steak dinner at Kemah Steak Co. Got the full fine dining steakhouse experience from the bar. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Had the classic ribeye & filet with spinach & mac n cheese and a bottle of wine. All was perfectly cooked. The house the restaurant is in, is from the 1930's. The décor is all local treasures. I can not recommend this place enough.“
