“Had a wonderful experience at MarMo during a pub crawl yesterday. It really shows when a bar truly prepares for an event like this. Even with the large influx of people, the staff were so friendly and attentive, working extra hard to minimize that wait time at the bar. This was hospitality to its core. It was such a cool vibe. And that hummus was magical. Will definitely be back!“

“Daiquiri Time Out is a cool place even if you don’t drink. It’s just a vibe there. Very chill, great seats, open environment. The back courtyard is real nice. But the best part of DTO is the customer service by the staff here. TJ, Campbell, Britney, Angel, and manager Dave are all friendly and cool, in fact, everyone there is cool. Plus they have this Tiki Bar hideout thing. Check it out!“

“We came here for a work event / team dinner with our significant others. The service was just absolutely amazing from the moment you walked in the door. Honestly this place was way to classy for me but the wife and I enjoyed every bit of it. I got the steak filled and my wife got the red fish with lump crab meat on it I believe. Also for this upscale experience the prices were very reasonable. The owner himself was in the restaurant bring food out, cleaning tables, etc. One thing that really stood out was we had about 10 people and when the food was brought out the restaurant literally send 10 people out with a dish so all the food was set down at the same exact time. Was super blown away!! I would definitely like to come back when I'm in the area.“

“They took us in for my sister's anniversary, even though we were later than we expected, but the only complaint was the speaker with stupid music (?) right in our ears. It's a sunset atmosphere, not a disco. The music (?) should be smooth, not ridiculously loud and annoying. The speaker should be up and away, not a ear level. When asked to lower the volume, they refused. Very unappealing. Waitress was great and friendly and the desserts, while expensive, were excellent! Also, the bar stools would be better if they had "backs", not just stools.“

“Amazing customer service,just moved to galveston this was the first bar and probably will be the only bar I'd want to go to im honestly so messed up rn I can't remember my bartenders name bit she had a Grey streak of hair and she was awesome and amazing to talk to. Can't wait to stop by again“

“Need a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? This place made this country boy at home. Make you feel at home. Small Town atmosphere. Ms. Renee (sorry if I misspelled your name); was highly attentive and friendly. music is varied. Jukebox is awesome. Not to mention the price of drinks is fair and the regulars make you feel at home. And this is after my first trip! Will definitely return next week.“

“Stopped in for lunch to support local business. They were slow so I’m glad I stopped. Got the anchor burger - steak sandwich style. Burger was on point and the Cajun fries were amazing. Got a side of their herb mayo and used that on my fries too.“

Menu was very diverse ranging from seafood options to american fair (pizza's & hamburger's which were GOOD). A wide selection of proteins and good portion sizes.
We felt our meals were very reasonable in value for what we received. The food came out pretty fast. The drink selection was pretty good. They did have a rowdy group renting the upstairs portion of the venue, but was not a disruptance! They seemed to be having a good time. We recommend as a nice and affordable upscale spot for any travelers or locals.“
