I tend to shy away from sauce, but his family recipe of sauce has a really interesting spice that came on very lightly that was so very interesting. Very unique, and it was something that, had not our wonderful server suggested that I try it, I would have missed a real gem. Something very special! Ribs were so excellent. A gentle pull with your lips will pull the meat off the bone. Sausage was such a good, smooth flavor. Cole slaw was neither sour or sweet; more creamy which made it delicious. I thought the prices were quite inexpensive. Which I'm certain it is a great value to the community so folks can have a nice, hearty meal at a great price. Hoping we left a good tip with our server so they can keep up the great work!“

“Arrived at 2pm for lunch. Parking limited but was able to park in their lot. Waited 10 min for a table w/ great view of gulf. Interior very nice. Waitress was excellent. Food came quickly and perfect temperature. Had their $15.95 lunch special ($13.95 if 65). Had the grilled fish and chicken fried steak. Everything was very good. Highly recomend.“

“We found the menu and decided to try it out. We were so surprised at the amazing location. Perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a new area. There were lawn games, turtles and birds in the water, walking paths, and the cutest pop up shops.“

Food was disappointing -- wife's chicken was overcooked to the point she couldn't eat half of it. My steak was on point but the lobster tail was also overcooked. This was the most expensive place we ate in Galveston and just didn't live up to expectations.“

Fast forward to this year’s girls trip, and our first stop was Coastal Grill! The food is so fresh, and delicious, and nothing was bad. Fresh seafood, wonderful veggies and sides, and good drinks. The owner, Samy, is just wonderful - so friendly, very welcoming, and thankful for our business. This restaurant will always be a stop when visiting Galveston.“

“Lots of space, both indoor and outdoors. Great play are for younger kids which allows parents to enjoy there drink. A few food items (Sandy,. I vegetarian sandwich which sucks for hungry beer enthusiasts!), but the pretzel is a good tummy filler. Plenty of beer options (always good in a brewery!) and lots of merchandise if you are so Inclined. A good placée to spend an afternoon relaxing whilst working, meeting friends or reading!“

It’s fantastic, on the other hand I would not recommend their flounder sandwich. The servers are so kind and respectful. The place is set in a great location, you will have a great view of the water and ships! The inside of the restaurant is so fun! 100% recommend!“

That's 2 pounds of crawfish, 2 crab, shrimp, corn, potato, etc... “So fun! We went all in on the experience and treated it as the attraction and restaurant that it is. There was a man making balloon animals/items for tips, the cups with dinner were cool. The ride was fun. For me I felt it was a one time experience. Once you’ve done it, you’ve done it but I recommend going at least once.“

Our visit was brief and we needed a place to have brunch, they seated us immediately and the place was mostly empty.I ordered The Chorizo and Egg Quesadilla and my sister ordered the Chicken and Waffles which we highly recommend.Our waiter was Jerome. It was made very quick & hit the spot for our family. Would definitely return next time in Galveston. People don’t realize what they are missing out on just a short drive away from the hustle!!!“

But in the last few years it seems as though the restaurant had lost its touch. After being a bit disappointed with my last visit, I was sure I would never return. However I find myself in Galveston for Memorial Day weekend and decided too give them one last shot. And it seems as though I have fell in love once again with this place. Not only have they improved their look but The service was “amazing”,and the food was “Outstanding”!!!! I had three different plates because my taste buds were in heaven!!!!! Please go and check this little spot out! I promise it won’t disappoint!

“I was looking for a small place to have breakfast and Primo’s did not disappoint. The seating area was just right for meet-ups, with Latin treatments on the windows and walls, and some paintings. Endless coffee was served all around me. I had the huevos rancheros and the serving size was more than the price would typically have indicated. I will definitely earmark this one for a return visit.“

“The Food was SO good. We sat at the front outdoor patio area, facing the beach. I got the Salmon, and my husband got the Gumbo. Both were absolutely amazing. In our opinion the best Gumbo we’ve had. Our waiter was very nice, but we did keep running out of our soda, and tea, so that was disappointing. We did get the spinach and artichoke with crab dip. It was very tasty.“
