Had it not been for the billboard advertising this restaurant I would have never known it existed- and it’s been around since 1911 in Galveston, Texas as the oldest continuously running establishment! I loved their Queso, Guacamole and especially their Butterfly Shrimp! We love this place. My son in law always insists on eating here whenever he's in town. My test for a good Mexican restaurant is the quacamole and margaritas. They pass the test in both. Always good service.

Started with the chili con queso and added ground beef, and it did not dissapoint! There was so much beef in the queso I could have made it a meal! The cheese enchiladas were the best I have ever had and the homemade tamales were delicious! Our waiter was wonderful and made us feel right at home. There’s a reason this place has been in business since 1916, great food and great service!
